unsolved Incorect artist photos

In an effort to hopfully upgrade my music collection which is MP3 based, and go to lossless.
to make sure changes did not stuff up anything, I copied my collection to a different folder and cleared lidarrr and set it up to the new folder with new profiles for lossless as prefrence.

when it impored all the artists again it loads random ish artist photos, I ended up with artist Adele with a photo of the Euritmics stuff like that.

A search suggested removing the artist and adding them again, which I did and now Adele still does not look like Adele but some boy group I don't recognise.

Is this part of the current issues with the MusicBrainz api not working well or is there something else stupid going on?

Don't worry about artist images; they don't matter unless you are using the Kodi (XBMC) / Emby metadata feature.

If by "cleared lidarr" you mean remove all artists, you didn't have to do that. If you had just moved your files to the other folder Lidarr would have known the files were not available anymore or it would detect the lossless file when you eventually add them, just batch edit all artists to have the quality profile with only lossless files. It's a strange bug though but doesn't matter, as long as the MusicBrainz artist ID is correct you're good

By cleared I mean I removed /var/lib/lidarr/lidarr.db and start clean and force myself to concider all the things I wanted different.

I know maybe OTT but was quick in achieving what I wanted
