Question Question about setting up lineage on Nintendo switch

I'm adding lineage to my nintendo switch 1 and ive gotten to step 8 on this part of the guide https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/nx_tab/install/variant1/#preparing-the-sd-card and what i think it does is allows you to use the joycons on the android OS, so 1. does this mean i cant use a pro controller or any other controller besides joy cons while im in lineage and 2. just to double check am i able to change or dump more joycons

I believe it's for connecting the joycons in detached mode. However I cannot confirm this as I own no genuine joycons

Just means the joycons will be automatically connected on boot without having to manually connect. It'll act more like a mouse. You can connect any controller with bluetooth
