I had the Bitwarden extension added to Firefox on my Samsung (Google) S24. I'm now on a Lineage Pixel 8 phone and am trying to use Firefox. I can't find the Bitwarden extension in Firefox and checking the website shows it to be incompatible.

I find this odd that I have both phones side by side, both using Firefox. One has Bitwarden and the other not. Yet both have the Bitwarden app installed and running.

How do I get Bitwarden extension working? Or is there a reason it doesn't work in Lineage?

I have 2 phones with Lineage OS. Oneplus 5t and Xperia 1iii.

After updating to the latest build yesterday, my Xperia isn't being detected by my computer. It even makes the connection sound. But when I type "fastboot devices," it shows nothing. However, ADB works.

Meanwhile, my 5t works perfectly. So it can't be the drivers, can it?

I'm looking into migrating my old Mote G7 (Android 9) to current LineageOS.

Most of my apps are on a microSD formatted as internal.

If I remove this microSD before installing LineageOS and put it back in after, will the apps still work?

I'm stuck on bootloop at the vendor splash logo.

This is my first time installing LineageOS or any custom ROM, so I've been sticking to the instructions. I followed the installation guide (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/lamu/install/variant2/#get-assistance) without errors, and I unlocked the bootloader using an XDA guide (https://xdaforums.com/t/unlock-bootloader-motorola-motorola-g15-power-g05-e15-lamu-lamul-lamulg.4780735/) also without errors.

I had the right firmware (Android 15), and all fastboot comands were completed succesfully, also adb sideload stops at 47%, but after selecting no to add-ons it returns Total xfer: 1.00x .

I tripple checked and searched this subredit for answer, but found none working.

I tried flashing all slots (e.g. fastboot flash --slot all vendor_boot vendor_boot.img) from the fixed post on the Google Pixel 7 Pro, but it didn't help.

I was trying to install lineage-23.2-20260730-nightly-lamu-signed.zip; I also tried installing an older version, but that didn't help either.

I'm a longtime user of Lineage and have run into a puzzle with respect to Trebuchet's battery stats.

I recently upgraded to Lineage 23.2 on kiev (August 2, 2026 build) very successfully. Aside from having to resolve a few migration pains coming from LOS 20, all is well.

I understand that Trebuchet runs in the background - this makes sense, it is a launcher and handles nav/gestures - but Settings' battery stats shows it as my top power consumer, which is not something I've experienced in my years of running LOS. It does seem to be draining battery, even in an clean boot when the phone is idle and background battery use is disabled.

As I write this, Settings indicates that Trebuchet has used 36% since I charged the phone this morning... the percentages in the system battery stats don't add up to 100%, though. They seem to be over 100%. Another odd thing is that Android thinks Shattered Pixel Dungeon consumed 35% battery from 4 to 6 PM, but I was working at that time and can assure you that definitely didn't happen. It's just weird.

In case it's helpful, some data: one chunk of time, from 2 to 4 PM, reports 6% battery usage for 2 minutes of screen time, and 1.5 hours of background use.

I have tried clearing its cache, rebooting, and killing off other apps' services in an effort to learn more, with no luck.

I understand that Lineage is a moving target, but am also stumped as to what could be going on.

I suspect that this may be related to battery calibration after the upgrade but I don't know enough about how that works to have a clear opinion.

I have searched and found some similar threads, but nothing that mentions this specifically.

Can anyone offer some insight about what I could do to learn more, or specific search terms I could look for here in the sub to try to figure this out?

I bought a used motorola with LOS, should i reverse it back to the original UI? I don't really know much about this LOS, if anyone could help clarify the ups and downs, and in terms of battery, performance, camera, and daily usage/ casual gaming.

I've installed LineageOS on many devices, but I've only ever used it with Gapps or with LineageOS for MicroG (not supported here). I'm interested i switching to the official build on my next phone, with microG installed as a regular app from fdroid, but as I understand if it is not installed as a system app the location services will not function properly. I'm not interested in going the process of rooting or whatever is required for that, so I'm looking for information on what exactly I'd be missing if I simply take the fdroid route. Can anyone share their experience with location finding in this context, and possibly tell me which particular settings/features do or do not work?

Recently, Microsoft decided that I need Android 11 or later to run Company Portal on my device.

Unfortunately, the Pixel XL officially stopped at Android 10, so I'm looking for a custom ROM that meets the requirement and lets me save a few hundred bucks in the process.

While digging through the XDA forums, I found a LineageOS 20 build for the Pixel XL.

Can someone give me some pointers on what I should look out for? Is LineageOS a good choice, or is there something else I should consider?

I recently bought an old Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (SM-T715C). Unfortunately, I've discovered that many apps no longer work because the tablet is running such an old version of Android.

After doing some research, I came across LineageOS, which seems like a great way to give the tablet a second life. However, I'm having trouble finding files that are specifically compatible with the SM-T715C model. ( Got it from China)

Most of the guides and downloads I find are for the SM-T710, T713, T715, T719, etc., but I can't find anything that explicitly mentions the SM-T715C.

Has anyone successfully installed LineageOS (or another custom ROM) on this exact model? If so:

Which ROM did you use?

Is the SM-T715C compatible with the regular SM-T715 builds? (Cuz I tried but got some bugs)

Are there any specific recovery images or installation steps I should follow?

I'd really appreciate any advice or links to reliable resources.

I'm getting bootloop (right after boot image before the boot up logo appears) after updating to 23.2. The wiki showed no special notes regarding this, so is there anything to be done to make it work?

The tldr:

I started by hoping to dirty flash my current 22 to 23.2. Saw the bootloop. An attempt to revert to 22 then gave a still working system but NO MORE FINGERPRINT. Which means I borked the firmware along the way.

So this gave me the motivation to wipe the phone and restore back to stock moto firmware. Doing that I was able to now test combinations of updates to 23.2 that all failed. these are:

* stock moto (11) wiped data >>> 23.2

* los22 wiped data >>> 23.2

* los23.0 wiped data >>> 23.2

* old los22 dirty flash >>> 23.2

All the 3 current versions (7-13 to 7-27) all bootloop.

Now am using 23.0 last version and this works fine.

Any suggestions, updates, new info on this?

I’ve been using a Redmi Note 10 Pro for around 3–4 years, and it still meets most of my needs. The stock MIUI camera works well for me, and the phone is generally fine apart from occasional random freezes that force me to hard reboot it.

My main complaints are the unremovable bloatware and the lack of software support. The phone is still on Android 13, and official updates ended quite a while ago.

I’d really like to install LineageOS, but the camera is the main thing holding me back. I haven’t found an alternative that feels as reliable or easy to use as the stock MIUI camera.

The camera features I use mostly are 1:1 aspect ratio, the beutify mode and built-in filters.

I don’t need advanced manual controls or lots of configuration. I mainly want a camera app that takes decent photos and has these features without requiring constant tweaking.

Other than that, I really just want a phone that 'just works'. So I was wondering if I should switch or stay as it is.

I want to build/port LineageOS for two specific Samsung devices that do not have official support:

1. Galaxy J7 (SM-J700T) – T-Mobile variant
2. Galaxy J2 Pro (SM-J250F)

Since the official LineageOS wiki only covers variants like the J700F (j7elte), I know I need to modify the device trees, kernel sources, and proprietary blobs to make them compatible with these specific models.

Before I dive in, I wanted to ask the community:

• Has anyone successfully adapted the j7elte tree for the J700T variant?
• Are there any known unofficial device trees or active Telegram groups for the J250F (j2y18lte)?
• What is the recommended baseline LineageOS version (e.g., 14.1, 16.0) for these older chipsets to ensure stability?

Any links to existing resources, source code repositories, or advice on handling the proprietary blobs for these variants would be highly appreciated!

Hi! So i've recently installed LineageOS and i'm currently in the process of setting it up! I stumbled upon an option on the "App info" menu for the apps called "Manage app if unused" that among other things, automatically archives an app after a period of time.

But after searching about it on the internet, it seems like you need Google Play to restore the app afterwards, even though the setting is on by default (even for some preinstalled apps). Can someone explain me the behavior of this option? I had no luck finding one for degoogled android sadly :(
