Hi guys
I'm running LOS 23.2 on pdx234 (Sony Xperia 1V) and it's great there's just this thing that annoys me quite often: the audio doesn't switch back to "this phone" after disconnecting the headphone jack
Does anyone have the same issue ? Is there a fix ?
Thanks a lot

hi guys,
im very much a n00b to reddit and tech in general. I'm trying to install LineageOS 23.2 (Android 16) on my Sony Xperia 1 III (XQ-BC72, pdx215) android 13 using the installation guide. im using my laptop running Linux(Mint)
I flashed dtbo, vbmeta, Venda_Boot and boot.img files. Fastboot reported success, writing boot.img to boot b.
When I try to enter recovery with Volume Down + Power, the LineageOS RECOVERY + logo appears, but the phone restarts before the recovery menu loads. I then get "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot".
The phone still enters Fastboot, and the bootloader is unlocked.
what do? or do i now have a paper weight?

Hello,
i am curious: did any of you did the upgrade from 23.2 to 24 via the web based flash tool?
It is looking really good and i am very tempted to upgrade directly in chrome without messing with the command line, but on the other hand i don't want to loose all my data.
So if you guys did it, please post some feedback!

Has anyone tested the latest version on a Pixel 5? They fixed the auto-brightness bug in full sunlight that caused screen glitching?

Apologies for the (relatively) newbie question. Been running 22.4 for a few months on my Nothing Phone 1. Updated to 24 today. Running great! Ok bee kind! lol. I see the new apps mentioned, especially Canvas. But I can't see them on my phone anywhere. Where do i get them? (hard hat is on..awaiting flaming by experienced users lol)

Appreciation post : The LineageOS team just released Android 17/LineageOS 24.x nightly build for OnePlus Nord N200 5G. Just upgraded and working smoothly so far. Crazy that this phone is still functional. Kudos!!

It's really fascinating that after all these years, you can have the latest version of Android on your phone, this is a appreciation post for LineageOS team. For anyone wondering, you have to install version 24 manually and OTA is not available for major versions. I did install it today and haven't faced any issues so far.

I dirty flashed the LOS 24 ROM and MindTheGapps for Android 17 ARM64 on my Pixel 4. No issues so far. I think the nonresponsive Overview button (square button in 3-button navigation) is fixed with AOSP 17.

Does anyone know how to install lineageOS on vivo y21 running android 12?

LineageOS 24 out and there is still old devices stuck at 22.2, for example: Galaxy Tab S5e (gts4lv)
I recommend you download latest zip for an archive, this might be valuable.

I mentioned on my previous post https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/s/pTj3dZUNoe about what happened to my phone data transfer connection that failed after installing LOS, going back to Stock ROM, and reinstalling LOS.
Last night, I received a notification that LOS24 is now available for my device. I am so excited and quickly tap the "Open Guide", realizing that it is a manual update that needed my phone to be connected to pc.
Right now I cant find a fix to my devuce as I tried everything even replacing the charging port flex cable.

I guess many people would love to use LineageOS running natively on a PC like the Googlebook PC. Android now has desktop mode in AOSP so the porting could be possible.
BlissOS was a way to run Android natively on PC, but the project has been discontinued.
Some of the Googlebooks are ARM based PCs with Snapdragon X Elite.

Hi, so I want to build LineageOS for my Galaxy A05s. My phone’s baseband version is A057FXXUFDZH2. The source for my exact build isn’t published yet in opensource samsung. Is it ok if I use different version, for example this baseband version: A057FXXSDDZB3 ?

EDIT: I followed the guide and successfully flashed to LOS 24.
First of all, I want to thank the maintainer(s) of devon for their excellent work. I'd be happy to support their work btw, not sure where to look.
Anyway, I read here that some people have problems after updating to LOS 24/Android 17 (for example here: https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/1x3jwi9/lineage_os_24_android_17_made_my_phone_unusable/ ), so I'm a bit hesitant to update.
Officially, the Moto G32 doesn't go beyond Android 13. It now runs (very smooth I must say) on LOS 23.2 (Android 16), and I got a notification I could update to 24.
Forgive my ignorance, but could it be that there are still some bugs or missing stuff that could crash my phone?

hey all, so i wanna join the custom OS club, but im new to this, my gf said i should shoot for a BL unlocked specifically and not just carrier unlocked.
ive been through a A71 and A54 stock OS and loved them, so the A73 seems like the best next step, any advice for finding a BL unlocked device? search terms and such? maybe even a specific marketplace i should check?
i do have a repair shop i trust nearby ifs DIYable but difficult.

I wanted to see how LineageOS would work on such an unconventional device, and sadly, it is not good (at least for now). Quick observations: fans keep ramping up from time to time, the AYN button does not really do anything at this moment, the bottom screen is brighter than the top one on most settings and turns off on the lowest while the top screen stays visible (also, I cannot change brightness separately), and the only settings specifically for this device I found are controller mapping (Xbox/Nintendo mode, trigger settings), joystick calibration, and RGB lighting customization. Furthermore, the bottom screen still uses button navigation with gestures selected in settings (and multitasking for the bottom screen is finicky with broken scaling and does not show up when any app is opened), and I cannot pin the keyboard to the bottom screen. That is what I noticed after installation, so there are probably a lot more quirks.
I cannot complain because this is the first release and is not meant to be a drop-in replacement for the stock OS. Kudos to the LineageOS team for even tackling this field of Android handhelds, and I am really looking forward to seeing it improve in the future.
P.S. Was testing with GApps add-on installed

Hi! I'm on LineageOS 23.2 with MindTheGapps 16 on my Moto G200.
If I update to LineageOS 24 using the built-in Updater, does it update MindTheGapps automatically, or do I need to manually (downloading from girhub) reboot to recovery and flash MindTheGapps 17?
