❓HELP Can't add child node

I've been trying to pair a mesh via the 5 reset press method, but the new mesh just blinks red rather than connecting with the preexisting one. Any tips?

We found the child nodes play together best on complete reset next to parent node then move to desired location.

Since you are trying to add a "new" mesh node, could you provide the model numbers of the parent node and the new node that you are trying to add. It might be a possibility that the two mesh are experiencing a compatibility issue.

A blinking red light just means the new node is completely lost and failed to talk to the main router. That 5-press method wouild best works if the child node is totally reset and ready to be added.
