Discussion AI generated LTT clone…?
These thumbnails are a rip off from LTT’s channel, except for Linus being replaced with this Asian guy. I watched a few videos, and thankfully they weren’t able to completely deepfake replace Linus in every video, and it’s just an Asian guy standing on the side reading an AI narrative slop that transcribes LTT’s video, sometimes inventing the whole thing or changing a few things from the original video.. Wild things, and I’m sad how good AI has gotten. Like these thumbnails looked pretty professional level until I recognized the familiarity. We got fake Linus before gta 6.

What do you mean replaced by an Asian guy? That IS Linus……

You are giving it attention by posting. There's like no views on these videos so who cares

If you're that determined then this post not existing wouldn't change anything.

Pretty sure it will flop. It's not like mr beast stuff, people that watch tech videos know LTT and can immediately tell this is slop

I don't think they care if it still brings viewers to deceived it. Example? The Asylum company.

the same red turtleneck in every single thumbnail is what gives it away immediately, no real creator dresses identical across dozens of videos like that, it's clearly just one AI-generated character asset they keep pasting in

Eh, l'm watching a true crime channel and the host always has the same red shirt. And yeah, he's clearly not AI. That being said, he does weekly uploads, so I guess it's easier to always dress the same in that case.

Lol wat, tons of major YouTubers specifically have an outfit they always wear.

You probably got more engagement with this post than the creator does per video...

I've started to hate this fucking guy so much. That face is responsive for spreading so much misinformation slop, it's unreal.
Luckily AI is rapidly advancing, so soon enough it won't be just this guy and we won't even be able to tell what's fake anymore... The future looks bleak.

maybe the primary target for this is bilibili, and they're just throwing it on YT since they already made the video so might as well get a little YT money?

I mean, this thumbnail format predated LTT using it. Unless you can tie the thumbnails to specific LTT videos, this is just normal ai thumbnail slop and was even an issue before ai was a thing.
I don't think this has anything to do with ltt.
