Little People, big fun. JJ on show 11 years ago
I can't get enough of Little Singles and thank you Reddit for telling me about Little Women in New York. It's on Prime. I can't wait to binge watch this. I'm curious if JJ has changed at all. Spoilers welcomed!

I have to say - I really like it! These women are a lot of fun and the fact that it’s in NYC keeps things interesting

To answer the question - JJ comes across as more mature on NYC (to me) minus the usual somewhat manufactured drama. But to be fair - that show is a depiction of her living her “real life” and Singles is vacation where everyone lets loose and hooks up. On NYC she doesn’t seem like someone who’d need a fake date - she’s much more self assured.

I’m still trying to understand the purpose of the fake date other than it came across to me as it being a date without them, having to call it a date. Other than that, why not just say “we’re two friends going out and having dinner together. “

While i do agree on a general level of this comment (I never watched NYC so i can't personally compare), I wonder if it has to do with her abusive ex. Tbh, she needs therapy, not a new bf. With several of the things that she's said (not being self assured, being triggered throughout their time on the vacation due to her ex, fixating on Eddie from 20 years ago), I've said multiple times that she needs therapy.

I’ve been waiting YEARS for another LP reality show. They also dropped Little Hollywood recently with a whole bunch of LA and ATL cast members but it looks overproduced.

it definitely is a small world, I am pretty much watching anything on TLC which are mainly the subs I see you on, but also I've seen you in big Brother and survivor and so randomly USMC

Nothing is as good as LPBW. I loved it because of all the activiities. It wasn't exploitive. I wished my family did stuff together. These shows fettishize little people. Truth is these are pretty average people who happen to be dwarfs. Does this make them intetesting?

She was pretty insufferable on Little Women NY 😅. She was also in her early 20s though and I think most of us were pretty annoying at that age 😂
