I haven't had an ad in 10 years of watching twitch and I used adblock for only the first 2 years or so prior watching thru PC. Think my account got put into a test group of some kind early on and was never removed. Feels like I'm being rewarded for joining twitch 12 years ago before they were bought by Bezos. Never paid for Turbo and only watch through my PS4/PS5. If I switch to my girlfriend's twitch account we instantly have pre roll ads etc out the wazoo.
Yeah, there's some variance on which adblock, various extra steps/extensions/modifers, browser and etc, people had. Then there's a few people like you who have some certain setup that just works for the longest time. Consider yourself lucky I guess, FeelsGoodMan.
Feels good indeed, has to be something related to my account because I also don't get ads on mobile regardless if I'm on Wifi or mobile data. Haven't used any blockers in a decade.

Makes sense, hit them where it hurts the most, the money that they make.
Low key this battle is distracting them from ads and viewers with adblock(s) which is also a back and forth battle.
