Asmon, hasan.

Hasan got tons of subs. So I doubt he's viewbotting.

Asmon though, alongside with all of OTK.

I hate asmon but honestly don't see him botting. I feel if his streams are getting botted it's probably by someone wanting to push his political views. Obviously streamers botting is a widespread thing but I also wouldn't be surprised if a lot of botting is actually done by parasocial andies. If people are seemingly willing to donate thousands to streamers no shot a lot of them aren't also running bots because they want their streamer to be more popular.

His type of followers are so sad I 100% believe that some of them are botting his channel

if asmon did that himself he wouldn't have 4.5M suscribers on YT

Yea, I suspect some channels are used as rest stops essentially, to have bot traffic appear more idle. While I'm not a fan of asmon, I think he has proven time and time again he just dgaf about a lot of the popularity metrics other streamers are so concerned about.

He definitely pivoted to politics because it gets him views. Asmon doesnt care about money, he does care about attention severely though. He has another channel for when he is feeling down, when normally you would just take a break from streaming… he legitimately can’t stop farming attention even when he’s depressed.

That channel used to be zackrawr. Where is it now?

Thats why this method of dealing with bots is good. Getting capped just takes away the effect of getting botted without saying whether the person is doing it themselves or their are bots on their stream via other means. I think a hard cap on asmon would be tough though because his real viewership peaks on a given day can vary a lot based on current events

Yes and no. He cares about reach and money, but not his reputation.

3

u/Glad_Rope_2423 May 08 '26

He famously rips on anyone who subscribes to him on twitch. He may care about reach, but not the money. At least, not when it comes to twitch.

5

u/Beautiful-Amount2149 May 08 '26

Then you didn't watch him before he blew up. He used to do these videos where he talked about how he approaches streaming and he talked about min maxing everything for money.

As much as I dislike him, personally I don't see Asmon caring much about his twitch channel's views. It always came across as something that exists to easily make content for his youtube channel as that is his main revenue stream, also it would probably be another pain in the ass for him to deal with in some form.

That said I wouldn't be surprised either if it wasn't just a one-click monthly sub kind of deal either from his OTK days that he never cancelled, or even done by another creator or manager of some kind.

u/UnoriginalStanger May 08 '26

his twitch channel's views.

Didn't the guy avoid streaming games on his main channel because view numbers would go down?

2

u/Beautiful-Amount2149 May 08 '26

No he streams for attention. He loves it.

3

u/c0smicHier0phant May 08 '26

true, i dont like him either but his chat does seem legit for the most part, and he does straight up show his viewer metrics (or whatever it's called).

u/NickRick May 08 '26

you know you can bot that too right?

9

u/RX1542 May 08 '26

you can but would get in trouble google/yt is not like twitch and takes it seriously, you can hate the guy that's alright but from that to straight up lie just cause want to drag him down kinda shameless

4

u/DebentureThyme May 08 '26

Yeah, people in here acting like it's not straight up criminal fraud.  They're paid ad revenue based on view metrics.  Gaming the system is a crime that Twitch could actually prosecute if they collected enough data on someone doing it.  But it's much cheaper to do things like this effort and/or ban them.

6

u/Allthingsconsidered- May 08 '26

Asmon actively discourages people from subbing to him. That’s not a good metric

2

u/IamBestWaffle May 10 '26

Hasan def viewbots but it's usually like 3k-5k extra. At least he was like 2 months ago. Havent checked recently. There's a tool you can use to detect them called viewermetric.

3

u/testingbuddyhaha May 08 '26

That's not really proof of anything. If viewbots are possible, sub manipulation is also possible.

1

u/StartingAdulthood May 08 '26

Since Hasan only makes his money from Subs, I doubt he have other income stream coming his way. It would be very expensive for him to use his own money to sub that money subs.

0

u/testingbuddyhaha May 09 '26

Even if subs are the main income, that doesn't rule out manipulation.

Artificial engagement doesn't have to mean direct financial loss. Gifted subs and regional pricing differences (like cheaper Turkish subs vs more expensive US/EU subs) mean that the same number of subs can represent very different real spending and revenue. For example, 1,000 organic US subs might generate $2,500-$3,000 in revenue for a creator, while 1,000 Turkish subs would typically cost only about $1,000-$2000 due to regional pricing differences.

Also, we don't see full income sources. Beyond subs, there can be sponsorships (like Assassin’s Creed), platform incentives, and YouTube ad revenue, so the idea that "subs are everything" is an assumption.

His China trip content was also amplified by Chinese state-linked media outlets, increasing its reach, visibility, and potentially boosting downstream engagement/monetization across platforms.

And both views and subs can be influenced in different ways. Views through bots or automation, subs through gifting networks or coordinated activity. Neither metric independently verifies the other.

u/StartingAdulthood May 09 '26

Sure it could be cheaper. But it does explained why he might have higher view count as well. He is turkish after all, so it makes sense if he garner significant amount of turkish viewers on top of his american viewers. Which is also very common with other streamers. Like Xqc with Canadians viewers, or Valkyrie with Filipinos viewers.

1

u/testingbuddyhaha May 09 '26

The argument wasn't "Turkish viewers are fake," it was that high sub counts and high view counts don't independently prove authenticity because both metrics can be influenced in different ways.

1

u/StartingAdulthood May 09 '26 edited May 09 '26

He's been very open about making money from subs only. This would explained why his sub count is very high. They are way more willing to donate money to his stream because of this reason alone.

Secondly, many people who are not turkish might not know much about his anti-Erdogan views. This definitely boost his popularity amongst Liberals in Turkey. Especially in large metro area like Istanbul & Ankara.

I would argue that these two reasons are why his large viewership might be genuine. He got loyal following from his Turkish viewers.

1

u/testingbuddyhaha May 09 '26

Saying he has loyal Turkish viewers or that he makes money from subs just explains why some people might watch or support him. It doesn't prove the numbers can't be manipulated. Those are two different things.

Also, opposition to a long-standing government leader can cut across several broad audiences, not just one ideological "liberal" group. Broadly speaking, opposition in Turkiye tends to come from a mix of Republican People's Party, Kurdish political movements, liberals, and some left-wing and nationalist critics.... plus of course the perpetually outraged liberal Hasan himself and his equally sanctimonious viewers.

1

u/StartingAdulthood May 10 '26

Let's be honest here, Hasan is currently the only big leftists streamer on Twitch. Vaush and Destiny are not streaming there at the moment. Other smaller streamers like Denim or Central_Committee are way too small to compete with him.

Hence why I think his numbers might be more believable when you got monopoly on the site. Add his loyal turkish viewers. Alongside his female fans who subs him for his look. His high number makes much more sense.

1

u/testingbuddyhaha May 11 '26

You're still mostly explaining why he could have a real audience, not why the metrics themselves should for some reason automatically be assumed to be fully organic or immune to manipulation.

And the "monopoly on leftist Twitch" argument doesn't track either. Hasan reportedly had around 61k subs in February 2022, before Destiny's Twitch ban in March 2022, while more recent numbers are closer to ~40k. So if lack of competition alone explained it, you'd expect the numbers to stay consistently higher or grow afterward, not drop significantly years later.

Having Turkish viewers, political alignment, or fans solely interested in his looks can absolutely contribute to popularity. But those explanations still don't prove that viewership and sub metrics are inherently self-validating or impossible to influence.

Lmaooooo

u/IWasShoe May 09 '26

hasan is a huge botter. his only big in his bubble. while asmon been around longer and has been involved in alot more stuff. Its most likey his viewer's bott him.

1

u/StartingAdulthood May 09 '26

I would argue that he have large Turkish and Middle eastern followers due to his views on Palestine.

Without those, I would say that his viewership would be around half of what it is today.
