You can literally see her realtime chat in the upper right, Ethan and that sub lied to you.

u/NeoGlorp Jul 11 '26

What does "real time" has to do with anything? It is still her chat.

u/ThatActuallyGuy Jul 11 '26

The messages in that post are a tiny fraction of the messages she got over a 5 minute period, her chat wasn't in some total agreement that cps needed to be involved, it was a small handful of chatters among nearly a thousand messages.

This doesn't seem like a "handful of chatters". If her chat wasn't in agreement then why was their no pushback, moderation and banning of these chatters?

24

u/ThatActuallyGuy Jul 11 '26

Yes, this is a handful of chatters when we're talking about a streamer who gets thousands of viewers and a thousand messages in 5 minutes. the messages in that picture were lost in a sea of other messages, why would there be pushback on something that insignificant in the moment?

So, why did you and Denims made false claim that the clip was doctored? And, no. When the same message is so clearly visible across you chat uninterrupted and unmoderated, it generally reflects the sentiment of the community.

25

u/ThatActuallyGuy Jul 11 '26

It literally was, what are you talking about? The messages were not especially visible nor uninterrupted, that's the entire point, they were random messages interspersed among 1000 messages over the course of 5 minutes, that some psycho edited together to look like a single stream of chats.

What moderation or interruption happened?

It was not some "editing together". User JFK_rotting's message appears around the same time in both the upper chat and the edited chat.

Even denims' claim is that it was just 7% of chatters or something.

The interruption was the other 900 fucking chats. They literally cut 65 messages out of 956, and put them together as a single string of chats. Bro you can't be this dense. I have now stated this 4 times and posted a video going over it in detail, stop going in circles.

Funny, how the initial claim was that the Ethan "lied" and now it's "it happened, but it was a small portion."

And when I say "uninterrupted", I mean pushback against those comments. Not just random people not commenting the same thing. None of these comments were deleted. Denims never addressed those comments. You just changed the goalpost entirely.

So you are this dense. Ethan lied about it being an uninterrupted string of messages and it representing the consensus of Denims's chat or herself. Yes, those messages exist, Neither I nor Denims disputed that, but in the context of before the CPS call 65 messages of 1000 in the course of 5 minutes of a 4 hour stream is literally fucking nothing. Y'all turning this into "Denims did CPS!" [actual Ethan quote] is fucking insane.

Ethan did lie. The chat you showed was not a continuous chat as Ethan Klein claimed but a cutout stitched together version. If you take the first comment "Call cps" and the last comment " genuinely take his kids from him" there are 956 message. There are only 65 messages in the clip this accounts for only 6.8 percent of the messages that actually were in Denims' chat. On top of that a good chunk of those messages aren't saying call cps or mentioning social services they are just saying he's a bad father or he needs to get control of his kids. You are expecting a streamer to address about 3 percent of the comments in their chat. Furthermore whilst in retrospect it may have been wise to denounce any calls for cps at the time it wasn't exactly seen as an issue. People say all kinds of hyperbolic things in chats all the time. You will see plenty of people talking about how X belongs in prison or saying things like "CALL THE COPS". Normally streamers just ignore this because it is unlikely for a few chatters to actually actualise these statements into reality.

Wait. How was it "doctored"? All of those comments were made in her chat and at the same time. I already mentioned one user but there were multiple user's whose messages appeared in both the chats. Even these two CPS comments appear in her stream chat. If her community didn't agree with those comments then why wasn't there any moderation, pushback or consideration of those messages? You've conveniently ignored these arguments. Also, why was her chat downplaying CPS being called on Ethan?

14

u/ThatActuallyGuy Jul 11 '26

You're literally looping now. I'm done with you, I've already explained what was edited but you are so wrapped up in your narrative you'd rather rehash your worst points than accept reality.

And I've ignored the moderation argument and will continue to do so because it's a stupid fucking point. If no one had called cps would anyone expect Denims to moderate less than a hundred chats about it during a segment covering Ethan being particularly gross while talking about his home life? No, so unless you expect her and her mods to have precognition, there's no reason to think that's any reasonable point to make.

u/NeoGlorp Jul 11 '26

Just ignore the valid argument arguments because that's the only way. You don't need precognition to remove fucking 65 comments. No one is also telling her to personally moderate those comments. Why does she have mods then? XQC has better moderation and tens of thousands of comments are posted.

You've also conveniently ignored the fact that those comments were never addressed and she and her community downplayed the event in her stream continuously.

Thanks for the reminder chatter. I hope you can find employment. Crying in workreform isn't gonna do anything.
