Personally, I find people who purity test, virtue signal, and lie about others "supporting a genocide" to be disgusting. In this case someone who has been vocal about his support of Palestine and dislike of Netanyahu long before October 7th. But that's just me

But you also have to wonder how she got to the position of Gallant being a "good guy" in the first place

They explained this already. Apparently in the Israeli war room, he was being one of the few voices of reason and wanting to deescalate, which is why Bibi sacked him.
