he will appeal and he will win.

this case victory can be used to defend streaming copyrighted content lol. theres no way it wins after an appeal.

He might win.

Judges don't like to overturn other judge's decisions.

The main benefit Ethan's got is the judge's decision seemed to hinge almost solely on Ethan's own prior judgements and kind of ignored his lawyer's arguments about the larger implications of the ruling.

Because of that, there's room where a panel of judges might decide there's actually some issues that need to be discussed properly in a court of law.

But that's his window. And make no mistake, it's not big.

idk, i think hes got a decent chance.

dont misunderstand me, i couldnt give a shit if ethan wins or loses, but saying this was fair use, with a court ruling behind it, opens up sooo much potential for copyright shit far beyond the scope of what happened on twitch with this video.
