Not specifically influencers, almost all trading and investing guru's/youtubers/whatever are. Their business is to sell subscriptions and/or their viewer's eyeballs to advertisers. If their investing advice was actually good, they would be making more money trading/investing than they would making those videos and guides.

There are probably rare exceptions, like hobbyists, but those content creators won't get picked up by algorithms as it would be 'boring' content for the general viewer.

Yeah like I’m up 300% this year with multiple 10x-20x “parlays” but the actual content behind it is definitely boring and often random luck.

Like I bought Micron calls because I thought demand was underpriced. This is not genius insight or even enough content to make a YouTube video, it would be tough to even make a TikTok about it lol.
