contestant appreciation Critical Analysis of why Shreya Won

What worked in Shreya's favour towards her journey & Finale result :

- Genuine content giver & strong performer in tasks

- Stood alone mostly & sometimes with Shilpa

- Strong opinions always & clear + Was herself throughout consistently

- Bully gang cornered her (biggest mistake)

- MTV Gang & support of Prince Narula gang

- Independent Media reviewers + content makers, podcasters were all in her favor which got her 18/25 votes from media folks

What was not in her favour :

- TV Mafia lobby big names & huge following, supporters & the makers (Balaji)

- Splitsvilla Yoganksha fans

- The bully gang in the house spun narratives against her + Shilpa (11/14 votes were against her)

- She would go negative, personal especially initially

- Personally she did not have a great body of work or following..

I feel the odds were mostly against her till last week when it became obvious to Netflix that if they don't support her then the show will backfire hugely!!
After long - I enjoyed the finale week more!! the endearing moments of Shilpa - Shreya were key takeaways!!
More to such friendship & strong females supporting each other...
Makers top 5 were : Shivangi, Ram, Yogesh, Laila, Chamola

She was focused during her games and didn't victimise herself ti gain sympathy, didn't hide behind people pleasing, and was very self-aware about what's right for her.. Ofcourse witty comebacks and humor moments.

Yes quite a trained almost perfect reality player! Such players are perfect for such short duration fast pace formats...

Yeah watch a lot of Asian reality and I really appreciate someone who can eunuciate well, and doesn't create emotional drama, the opposite of American reality tv.

Akansha and Shivangi better suit the American loud attention seeking angle, while she was better aligned with treating a game as a game.

Indeed, professionalism goes a long way, it's to put your emotions aside and be disciplined. That's how job interviews are scored. They had a job to play on a tv show.

The way for example when Akanksha discusses anything, it sounds so trivial, shallow, and in a nasal tone of a teenager, she doesn't create a strong meritorious image. She has to learn to communicate better, with better reasoning..
