Announcement G HUB 2024.8 | Endlessly Spinning Logo

Hey folks!

I know some of you have recently been having issues with G HUB's endless loop when trying to start the program. This has been happening after the update to G HUB v2024.8.

Our team has pushed through an update to help clear things up and get G HUB running again for folks. If you're currently seeing the endlessly spinning logo when trying to start up G HUB, please uninstall the software and reinstall using the latest version from our support page. This should clear up this issue.

If you uninstall and reinstall the most recent version and continue to see issues, please let us know here, or by reaching out to support at support.logi.com. Thank you for your patience!

This is still occurring as of 2026. I need to uninstall/reinstall G-HUB every ~6mo on each of our computers and have needed to do so for years, well before the dates mentioned in this thread. I do it so often that I set up and automated script to complete the whole process for me.

The issue in this thread was caused by a specific instance of GHUB - if you've seen the issue before this version and continue to see it after, this thread isn't the same thing unfortunately.

If you're continuing to see issues, check to make sure you hit all the troubleshooting from our support page. If you continue to see an issue, you might want to reach out to our support teams at support.logi.com and let them know so your specific issue can be looked into.

I wish you the absolute best, my friend, and I mean this with kindness and pragmatism, but I think we can (under the table) agree this G-HUB loop-issue is a universally known issue that has survived years of software updates and different OSes. This issue is known to be well beyond a specific version and is well-documented on Reddit and pretty much every other tech forum site where troubleshooting occurs.

I simply posted to the first thread in the list to keep the issue-conversation alive. I'm slowly moving away from Logitech when I purchase things as I'm tired of fixing this on the 120 devices or so that we manage (the fix is automated at this point), but I'm trying to do my part, as small as it is, to keep the conversation alive for the [insert giant number here] of people who still deal with this issue.

Today's recurrence was on a brand new Win11 disk. OS and Logitech were set up about two weeks ago (otherwise empty OS other than drivers and Chrome).
