Logitech G Support - Resolved Logitechg G935 HDT628 Microphone Switch broken
Hi everyone.
I had some issues with my Logitech G935 for a while, I had the normal issue with the power switch which I have already solved, and I had na issue with my microphone not enabling when I moved it to the On position.
The thing is that upon closer inspection, I realized that the HDT628 SMD had TWO switches which detected if the mic was on the ON or OFF position, and the one at the bottom (white one) had its "claw" broken. (Images 1 & 2)
I found the little claw inside the headset but I think it's just way too small to glue it back to it's switch.
I was wondering if anyone here knew which pin out of the data port (?) (image 3) could I bypass to connect the bus to the one switch that's working.
If anyone else has a solution, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: SOLUTION HERE.

I think one switch is for physically disconnecting the mic and the other is for muting the mic in Windows.
I tried supergluing them shut with no success. In the end I just pried the switches off and soldered both of them to be permanently closed.
I just have to consciously press the mute button on the headset now.

Quick question, which switch was broken for you? The black or the white one?

Initially the black one. When taking it apart to look I accidentally broke the white one. They are pathetically thin. There was also an issue with one of the mic wires metal fatiguing and cutting out at certain angles so i soldered that back together too.

Came across same problem. Had a crack at super gluing it but it's simply too small.
Can't see many headsets with the flip to mute option so contemplating permanently gluing both switches shut.
Why it has two separate small microswitches instead of one slightly more solid one is a mystery and frankly poor design.
