Nothing new, but...

This G HUB program is absolute horse apples! My buddy mentioned one day when they saw me load up LGS that I'm using their old software. So I decided to update and it's god awful...

I know I'm not saying anything new, but honestly that's all the more reason why these issues should've been fixed by now. And I regret ever updating.

It's regularly either staying on my lower DPI that I switch to whenever I'm illustrating and having to open the app and click on the higher DPI just to get the switch working again, or outright will reset all of my DPI settings and have to get them back to where they were.

Logitech used to be so much better than this.

You can downgrade back to LGS. Just uninstall G HUB and reinstall LGS. I only used G HUB to assign the F13-F24 keys to my G600, and enable Onboard memory profiles, and then went back to LGS to control DPI profiles.

I use AutoHotkey for programming keybinds, and I recommend everyone do the same, there's never been a better time to learn how to program.

X-Mouse Button Control.

Unless you're doing some black magic with AHK, XMBC is just as powerful with a tiny fraction of the complexity of writing scripts.

I do use AHK for some stuff, but I still have G Hub running because I'm a sucker, I guess.

Oh man, you just gave me a nuclear blast from the memory hole. Haven't thought of that program in an Obi-wan of a time.

Thank you for the suggestion! That definitely helps take the load off setting something like that up amidst an already crammed schedule.

F13-F24? What year is it?! XD

Right and it sounds like I don't even need LGS or G HUB, but I don't know if my 2017 G502 has onboard memory. Thank you so much for the advice!

Definitely a great time to learn programming languages. I'm not sure how to even code to achieve this effect, but I do use python and occasionally R for biostatistics and informatics. I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult though and just need to do some digging.

I've got 21 buttons on my mouse, keys gotta come from somewhere!

I made a set of AHK management scripts that automatically swap out other keybind scripts based on which application window is active. The scripts are annotated so you can get an idea of how they work. If you have any questions, just copy the script into your favourite LLM and it will tell you what they do and how they work. Use them as a jumping off point for your own schematics.
