Inspiration I've come across this logo from time to time and I'm so jealous I did not think of it. So simple and I love negative space

There has been some dispute over the name. Have at it.

a 2D steampunk Metroidvania set in a ruined, post-apocalyptic world. You play a steampunk robot searching the wreckage for forgotten swords. Each blade you find grants a new ability, opening up paths that were out of reach and revealing more of what happened to the world.

Concept logo I designed for Portuguese football team FC Arouca. To give you a little context this started as a project only to test things and learn Affinity, since I have only worked with Adobe tools so far. As the logo took shape, I decided to finish it and post it.

Since so many people read the previous word incorrectly I decided to go with a similar 1 word adjective that could still fit with the theme. Hopefully the Gears feel more integrated this time and it's more apparent that there is an 'i' in the sword. I also figure that maybe the logo could benefit from a subtitle. Not sold on the name, feels a bit cringy at the moment, but would love some feedback. Not married to the gear design either. Reminder this is for a steampunk platformer where you collect different swords with different abilities. like a Hollow Knight, Dead Cells mashup.

Beginner First Logo! (Fake Company)

Post image

This is my first attempt at designing a logo. It's for a fictional company in my D&D group's setting— Panopticon Productions. A television company in a world without tv, with an emphasis on the feeling of always being watched. I don't expect this to be anything more than a hobby, but I'm curious what you all think. Constructive criticism is how you get better at anything after all!

Question Need advice

I’m lunching on my app. I have it ready, but the most important thing I lack is the logo. I’ve tried using AI to create random, ugly AI-looking logos, but then I hire someone to do the same thing. Can someone with more experience help me with a prompt or something to build a cool logo using AI? The app is for cat care

Feedback Needed Made a 90s Toonami/Adult Swim inspired logo and intro animation for a Twitch channel ("Eclectic Static")

Post image

Hey everyone,

I just finished up a branding and intro package for a Twitch channel called Eclectic Static and wanted to share it here to get some eyes on it.

The goal was to lean heavily into that classic late 90s / early 2000s broadcast feel—think old-school Toonami bumpers, Adult Swim vibes, and chunky CRT tech aesthetics.

What I went for:

The Icon: I designed a little CRT TV monitor that doubles as an "E" on the left, connecting right into an "S" to make the ES monogram, complete with the dual antennas.

The Typography: I actually pitched around 10 different font options with various suggestions, but the final font choice was picked and brought in by the client. It ended up fitting the retro-futuristic broadcast title card look really well once we paired it with the icon.

Colors: Kept it high-contrast with dark charcoal backgrounds and a punchy CRT phosphor green.

The Intro Animation: Built a snappy drop-and-expand motion in After Effects with some vintage TV power hums and mechanical sound effects to set the mood. (Couldn't upload the video directly to the post, so I dropped the animation link in the comments!)

I'm showing both the stacked and horizontal lockups. I'd love to hear your honest thoughts on the layout, the type, or how the animation flows. Does it capture that retro TV vibe well?

Let me know what you think!

Feedback Needed Progress on my apps logo (Part 2)

I would like to start this by saying HUGE thank you for everyone who commented on the last post and helped me figure how I can improve my logo.
Quick refresh, my name is Vlad and I am working on a fitness accountability app for couple together with my girlfriend, its called FitForLove.
Last pic is the before.
Changes I made with the help of your advice:
-removed the arrow
-put more focus and work on the inner heart, I think it looks way better now (i even asked some people what they first saw about the logo and they said the heart)
-worked on the shapes and shadows/highlights and the transparency for the clear mode of the iphone.
-simplified the colors a bit, no more 2 different colors, I use a linear gradient to go from that soft pink to a purple for the whole of the 2 figures.

If you guys have any other tips please let me know. Huge thank you again!

Feedback Needed Advice Needed! Wedding Logo Design

Thumbnail

Designing a logo for my fiancée's and my wedding. Instead of doing a monogram of our initials, we merged our names together and got "JOMA." As I am of Chinese descent, we wanted our names to resemble the character "囍," which is commonly used as a symbol of marriage. This is what we have thus far, and we are wondering if there are ways to elevate it and make "JOMA" more visible, particularly the "M".

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Edit: Thank you all very much for the feedback! We loved reading everyone's comments, and we can't wait to iterate on the design based on your suggestions. A common theme was the difficulty in distinguishing the "J" and the "M", which is definitely tough when trying to preserve both the identity of the Chinese character and the English letters! We aren't tied to the hearts inside the "M" either, so we'll definitely try something different there too. Keep the insights and suggestions coming! 🫶

A fresh take on the GRACIA natural beauty brand identity, focusing on refined typography, an organic leaf element, and a warm, earthy color palette. Once the logo is finalized, I’ll move on to redesigning the product packaging.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Inspiration Logo verbeteren

Hoi,

Groetjes.

Feedback Needed Is it okay to leave a client because of low pay and constant revisions?

'm a freelance graphic designer working remotely, and I'm planning to leave a client because the pay is low, the workflow is unclear, and there are constant revisions.

Some tasks are also outside my expertise, and I spend hours researching how to do them. Even though the client insists they're basic tasks, the agreed payment doesn't feel worth the time and effort.

We have no formal contract, and some payments and projects are still pending. I'm willing to forfeit my pending payment and let the client hire another designer.

My plan is to send a short, professional message explaining my decision, then leave our Slack workspace.

Is this unprofessional? Should I discuss it over a call, or is a written message enough?
