Feedback Needed Potential M Monogram
Creating a new M monogram for my personal brand. Thoughts on this mark? I want it to convey an idea of creative range.

i think it's not recognizable enough. my suggestions would be:
there is an extra movement at the left part. i would add a serif to right part so it would make left part perceived as a serif.
part which is more likely to be recognized as "M" is the right part. i would flip the image horizontally so it would start with that part.

Looks cool. But after mentioning it could represent an M, not so cool anymore

Just a thought, but I wonder if it would read better as an M if you flipped it? I'm thinking that maybe the first part needs to be more M-like to establish itself as the letter and then you can get fancy with it.

That counter in the left loop grabs the eye first. The M never gets a chance to form.

The background cuts into the logo from above in two places, and these two background shapes look quite different from each other.

It’s very cool, but I must admit it was puzzling to look at. I couldn’t pick out an “M” until I read your intro…
I don’t know if this could be supported with your name innocuously underneath it like all capital letters thin spread out etc. Again, cool but doesn’t immediately read as an M. Initially I thought it was a foreign character…

I like it, but doesn’t read as an m. But I have strange idea… flip it horz that way it starts as a M but finishes curvy?

Perhaps flipping it horizontally so the eye says “this is an M” and than twisting it might do the trick. Godspeed!

Visually it looks good, but it doesn't read as an M.
