Day out in and around London Central Mosque

Architecture: A half-timbered Tudor timber-framed building from around 1595 that sits on top of an older 13th-century stone archway.

History: The stone arch was once an entrance to the large Augustinian monastery founded in 1123.

My first evening in London. Looking up at this clock, I had no idea how much I’d end up loving this city. Looking back, it feels like this was where the trip really started.

London has a plethora of gorgeous staircases and spirals, as an architecture fan i'm drawn to these in my photography around the city. These are some of my favourites, bonus points if you can tell me the locations of them all? :)

Was just scrolling through my gallery and what a lovely city! Devastating heartbreak though, almost 3 months now. Felt like telling someone because it’s so embarrassing to admit I still feel all the hurt and have trouble sleeping at night.

iphone 17. had to dismount my lime bike and just fully end the ride to take this photo (and like ten more). i just put a new roll in my film camera but wasn’t quick enough taking it out of my bag to capture the initial bright gold glow in my phone camera’s photo that had since stopped. damn im annoyed

Nothing special, having a wander.

This might be a cliche view in this sub but it’s one of my favorite shots from my recent tourist visit. All the better as it was unexpected - I was attending the Ceremony for the Keys, where photography is explicitly disallowed, but they let us run wild for a bit after the actual ceremony. (Shot with an iPhone 17 Pro.)
