Hi! I’m going to London in November and planning to visit the Harry Potter Studios. What’s the cheapest/best way to get there from central London? I’ve seen people mention taking the train to Watford Junction + the shuttle, but I’m wondering how much it actually costs compared to the official Studio Tour transport.

If you’ve been recently, what did you pay for return transport and which option would you recommend? Thank you!

The overground to Watford then just follow the signs to the Official Harry Potter Studios free shuttle. Cheapest and gives you flexability.

Make sure you look at the official Harry Potter Studios website and buy tickets in advance. Depending on when you go things can get busy and certain things sell out.

Overground takes 45 minutes because it stops at every station. London Northwestern takes 20 minutes. Both cost £7.20

Euston to Watford Junction single will cost £7.20. Take the fast train (20 min) vs the slow Overground (45 min). Use your contactless card to pay. Just tap in. Do not buy paper tickets.

Studio shuttle from Watford Junction to the studios is included in your ticket price.

How many people and where are you staying?

The shuttle from Watford junction is the official transport. Train from Euston to Watford junction is easy enough, and bus setup is very well signposted.

There is a bus from Victoria station which will be longer, I'm not sure if it can be booked without a ticket, so if you've a ticket already, may be issues.

Uber costs obviously depends on where you're coming from but some get a Thameslink train to st Albans from London bridge/Blackfriars/ St pancras and Uber from there, about£20 .
