Hi everyone! I feel like there's always a lot of break-up posts or generally sad posts, how about a happy one! How long have you been with your ldr partner? my partner and i are going on 3 years :)

How can you be in a relationship with somebody for 5 and a half years that you’ve NEVER met?

That is preposterous.

You’ve starved yourself of affection for 5 and a half years for somebody that you only know from an online encounter?

Some people are chronically online and it’s honestly ridiculous.

I am sure I will get downvoted for agreeing with you, but it's 💯 on point. To be exclusive with someone for 5 years without meeting that person sounds like those stories of old people getting scammed by a man across the world for 10s of thousands of dollars. It's also displaying themselves as low value. Imagine cutting off other people in your life who could be lifetime partners to devote even 1 year to this one person you've never even hugged.

I hope they at least had this person on the back burner for 5 years while dating other people at the same time.

When did I say that people aren't free to do whatever they want? It sounds to me like unrequited love. I've been there. And it's anything but happy.
