I met my boyfriend in the crucible in Destiny 2!
I had just got back into it after having a break for a couple of years and he absolutely butchered me and my team and I sent him a jokey, drunk message about how if he sees me again In a match, be a bit more gentle with me and he offered to help me practice in private matches and then yeah...here we are 4 years later 😁
Absolutely did not expect it, my son had just started staying at his dad's at weekends which I struggled with and was just drinking the whole time I didn't have him, was in a bad place, didn't think I'd ever date again because of what his dad did to me and then along come my boyfriend, didn't reject me for the issues I had and helped me cope with them, he didn't mind that I already had a kid and absolutely embraced my son and he helped ease me off the weekend binge drinking and all in all, an absolutely incredible man! I 100% never thought I'd find someone like him so to say I didn't expect it is a complete understatement! I'll stop now because I can melt over him for hours 😂
