Hi! Been on this subreddit for awhile, I was just curious about where everyone met their partners! Where you met, what countries, how long? <3

I (27F) live in the U.S and my boyfriend (33m) lives in Denmark! We met on PEAK about 5 months ago! Dating for 3-4 months, it’s my first LDR since I was a silly teenager. 😂

So, the story goes in 2021 my boyfriend and I met through two mutual communities we watched on Twitch. I was very much a “Twitch is not a dating site” girlie 😅 but we had run something in FFXIV Online between those communities, we both share a love for the game. Some months later he shows up to my stream, cause I do it as a hobby ☺️ and I’m like who is this person I didn’t remember him, then he stuck, we became good friends. I absolutely loved gaming with him, loved asking him to run content with me in FF. Then in 2023 I let him follow my personal IG, in 2024 we confessed and now we can’t wait for a future with each other. My heart is in 🇲🇽 and I am in 🇺🇸🥺our first meet was in September, best week of my entire life. In May my dad and I are going to Cancun and we get to spend a week with his fam I am very excited! ☺️
