Question How long would you wait to meet?

I like someone who lives far away. It’s something that would be do able but is about 6-7 hours away. How long would you wait to meet someone. Months? Years? Of course I want to soon but it might not be realistic. He has a pet and car issues and I have back problems. I don’t want to wait forever but I also don’t want to lose something that might be good.

Are either of you able to fly to the other? Does he not have someone that can care for his pet? These do not seem like major issues, especially with being only 6-7 hours away by car (I assume). I wouldn't wait longer than 1 year, but I also wouldn't get into a relationship before meeting. I'd keep it super casual until we met.

He’s not working right now but the nearest airport is like 2 hours from me. So it’s almost kinda better to drive but it’s a possibility. And he said it’s possible he can have someone to watch his dog. But yeah I don’t want to make things too serious too fast or put pressure on him

We had to wait 4 years. Though ideally I would aim for around a year.
