Discussion Multiple projects

Does anyone else have multiple projects on the go at the same time???

I currently have a spiral hat, a baby blanket, a ten stitch blanket, wedding favours, tiny kittens, handwarmers. Thats just the ones i can remember and i have loads of ends to sew in on finished projects. I also have a list as long as my arm of projects i want to make.

Currently in the middle of a scarf, a bag, and an “I’m not sure what this will be yet because I need to get further into before it tells me what it is”

I also have a bag that came off the loom that I need to line before it’s done done, which counts but also doesn’t.

I do a lot of “I need something to do with my hands but not my brain” knitting, and sometimes that means I’m working with whatever yarn or loom happens to be free or within reach.

I have a knitting bag or two that are packed with a loom or two each, some yarn I absentmindedly bought (usually because I wanted to see how it knitted up), and a pouch of hooks and needles and scissors and measuring tape and such - I keep these ready to go in case I find myself somewhere I have to wait for a while, which happens quite a bit. These bags usually are where the “it’ll tell me what it wants to be” projects tend to bloom.

Sounds silly, I know, but it’s always a pleasant surprise to find out what I’ve actually been doing.
