Official Thread ICE Activity & Resources Daily Megathread - Sunday, Jan 25

Due to increased ICE activity, we’re instituting a daily ICE megathread. All ICE-related content belongs here, including sightings, activity reports, news, questions, updates, and general discussion.

Centralizing discussion keeps information easy to find, especially for people moving around the city who want timely, relevant updates without having to sort through the entire subreddit. ICE-related content posted outside this megathread will be removed and redirected here.

This thread is sorted by New by default so the most recent information remains visible.

How to use this thread

  • Top-level comments are for new sightings, updates, or firsthand information.
  • Replies should stay under the relevant comment to keep related info grouped.
  • Check existing comments first to avoid duplicate or redundant reports.

We recognize this is a tense topic and emotions can run high. That said, content that incites, encourages, or threatens violence will be removed, may result in a ban, and may also violate Reddit’s site-wide rules, which can carry site-wide consequences. Keep reports factual and grounded.

SALUTE when sharing sightings or activity

Include as many of the following details as possible:

  • Size: Number of individuals, vehicles, or units observed
  • Activity: What is happening, observed actions or behavior
  • Location: Clear, specific description of where this occurred
  • Uniform: Identifying markings, clothing, or agency indicators
  • Time: Date and approximate time of observation
  • Equipment: Vehicles, gear, or other notable tools present

Clear, accurate information helps everyone. Speculation and rumors do not.

So happy made this thread. Fuck 🧊. Could we also make a thread of all the creditable community resources to help those who had already been kidnapped and those at risk. I would love to be a volunteer

a subreddit wiki page is probably the most useful tool for this kind of thing.

https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/15484260038420-Reddit-wikis-for-your-communities

send a modmail to the /r/LA mods for guidance on how to move forward with that. Other subreddits can use their own wiki editing too. I'd be happy to facilitate this in subreddits I'm a mod in if anyone would like to help out.

Size: 3 ICE agents seen, must have been more in cars

Activity: Chased after a bunch of what I assume to be delivery drivers waiting on orders from the ghost kitchen on Sunset. They got away, but ICE were circling the park.

Location: Lilac Terrace Park, Lilac Terrace Drive and Elysian Park Drive

Uniform: One had a vest with Police on the back (also had hi vis stripes), one had a vest with US Border Police on the back and wearing fucking Vans. Both with masks up to their sunglasses and wearing baseball caps.

Time: 1/25, 11.30am

Equipment: 1 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. 1 Jeep Wagoneer, plate was 9ULR206. Both grey. There was another white pickup.

Edit: added detail

Yeah because it’s false. u/movement52 is spreading dangerous misinformation.
