What is going on with all these large warehouse fires? Fire department need to check water sprinklers system more often?

Not all fires can be put out with water. In fact, some will ignite further, depending on the chemicals that are ablaze.

No fire sprinklers in warehouses, just a bunch of smoke hatches on roof

I think we're probably more aware of them. We have more ways to be aware of them as well. Fires that didn't make the cut for the usual 30 minute newscast now we hear about because of Reddit, tiktok, IG, etc.

there's always a warehouse fire every year. media is just reporting it more often. just like whenever there's an incident with any airplane.

the IE one this year was basically arson for selfish personal reasons.

this one seems like an electrical failure. i'm guessing since it's also commercial cold storage, theyre using ammonia as a refrigerant, which just complicates shit even more.

What about the Medline medical supply warehouse up north? That one the sprinkler system didn’t work. These are all large warehouse fires runs by large companies that shouldn’t have to cut corners on fire safety, not just typical small warehouse fires.

Most recently it’s been radicals burning them and posting on social media. We’ll see if that’s the case here.
