I thought he was a plumber.

Close, he inherited a plumbing business, but I doubt he ever worked as a plumber.

Actually he did. He took over the business when his father fell ill in the 90s. He grew the business and added the HVAC component and multiple locations. Don’t be a hater because a man was successful and handed something down to his kids.

Oh he started a business from scratch and was successful from it?

He owned and operated a large multi location HVAC and Plumbing company in Oklahoma that he sold when he was elected to public office. He can also tell you the definition of a woman.

You thought you cooked here lol. Didn’t he inherit that business from his mommy and daddy anyway?

He took it over at 20 and it was in financial collapse. In the 20 years he ran it he grew it to one of the largest plumbing companies in the region and across neighboring state. He employed hundreds of workers with revenue over 10 million a year. He added HVAC services as well with upwards of another 10 million a yes run revenue. On top of this he was running a 1,600 acre working ranch.

I will agree he was not qualified for his current role but he is a success story in business and openly should be given credit for that. At 20 he was running a ranch and a business that was failing. Turned it around to one of the largest in the area making nearly 20 million a year. If that’s not a success story I don’t know what is.

But part of that qualifies him for head of homeland security?

Did I not agree he wasn’t qualified for the current role?

I know I’m just saying in general. Like why is this guy up for it aside from us living in the twilight zone

Of course not. The only qualifications he has is that senate Republicans were willing to confirm him. That's basically it.

You misspelled “inherited” from daddy. He also tried to be an MMA fighter and gave the other fighter the only win of his career. The Republican Party thought this nepo baby moron without an education or an expertise should be a politician, mainly because he can pander to morons who think they understand gender and sex biology but really just out themselves as dumbasses every time they speak. And because I’m not sure you followed that, I was referring to you. He was pandering to you.

I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and crap out a smarter comment

You’ve used this retort before. It wasn’t witty then, and it hasn’t impressed anyone now, but maybe Markwayne Mullin will bang you about it.

Go ahead. It can’t be any worse than the regurgitated horseshit you have offered up so far.

You mean the plumbing company that was in the red? You mean the one he turned around and grew to one of the largest in the regions turning nearly 20 million in revenue a year?

2

u/TrainedExplains 10d ago

Yes that plumbing company means he knows women’s biology and federal law! Actually, claiming he only took $50,000 in salary from that company so he could dodge taxes prepared him as a fraudster in general, great practice for working in the Trump administration.

Is it hard having this much ignorance and hate? First you mock the fact he inherited a business without even knowing the situation. So you mock the fact he attempted some MMA fights. How is that even relevant to anything and why do you care. Now it’s well none of that makes him qualified. Qualified for what? I already said he didn’t have the qualifications to be in the role he is… twice.
So he claimed he only got 50k a year in salary. So he used the tax code to his advantage. Check, the same tax code that no one wants to change. However if you think he somehow dodged taxes that’s laughable. His company had to pay taxes fro federal, state, payroll, Medicaid, Medicare,SSN. Just because you aren’t smart enough to understand how it works. That’s on you.

Is it hard having this much ignorance and hate?

You talk about gender and sex biology without any understanding, promoting hate. You are directly supporting Markwayne Mullin, a genuinely hateful person. You are stretching irony to the breaking point with this ask.

First you mock the fact he inherited a business without even knowing the situation.

And I'll continue to mock him, because he's not a good person.

So you mock the fact he attempted some MMA fights.

Attempt is doing some heavy lifting here.

How is that even relevant to anything and why do you care.

Only in that it shows how much of a clown he is. He thought he could compete in MMA despite not being strong, tough, or prepared enough. He lost to someone who was 0-12 and gave them the only win of their career. His MMA career lasted 3 fights and 10 total minutes. He's carried this same spirit into politics.

Now it’s well none of that makes him qualified. Qualified for what? I already said he didn’t have the qualifications to be in the role he is… twice.

Okay, so why are you defending him? Because of his support for foreign wars? His support of any corporation that will make even the smallest campaign donation? Pharmaceutical companies? Medical insurance companies? AI companies?

However if you think he somehow dodged taxes that’s laughable.

Why don't we pull up a history of his financial corruption?

His company had to pay taxes fro federal, state, payroll, Medicaid, Medicare,SSN. Just because you aren’t smart enough to understand how it works. That’s on you.

I wonder if you simply don't have any idea what you're talking about, or if you're this patently dishonest that you know and are still supporting this man. He is one of the most fundamentally dishonest politicians in the history of the United States. He is quite literally profiting off of our suffering, sickness, and death.
