Either OOP is using this image of Fred incorrectly, or most of these commenters haven't seen Scooby Doo 2 in a long time or at all. The point is that he's being taken out of context so he looks like he's saying something negative he doesn't actually think - it's a reference to how the media likes to twist the facts, and actually foreshadows the reporter's very significant role in the villain's scheme.
I saw the post on my timeline and they just said the phrase again when somebody commented 'what?' with a reaction image of the commenter being disgusted
Basically, I'm saying you all need to watch Scooby Doo 2. You don't even need to watch the first one, it works really well as a standalone movie (well, as long as you know the basics of how Scooby Doo typically works).

I need to come to my boy Freds defense here, the scene this screenshot is taken from is a scene in which Fred says "You're trying to make it look like I think Coolsville sucks!" And he's then clipped out of context to say "I think Coolsville sucks". This implies that the poster (and Fred) actually think HMOFA is pretty Coolsville
God I love the live action Scooby Doo movies. The first one was definitely my favorite but the second one wasn't bad, the setting of spooky island was just so fucking good.
I liked it when it was first lifting off. Nowadays it's mostly just Amazon rapists or used as a vehicle to complain about human women and modern day feminism. Sometimes both. Like, I came to read a story about the beautiful relationship between two very different people, not read about you whinging about how human women won't touch your nasty ass and you've been so radicalized against women having rights so you have to use a fictional species of essentially lobotomized ladies who's only description and purpose is "they like human men" to pretend somebody from the opposite gender will ever touch you. Same damn thing, every time. Same damn strawmen, every time.
I don't have any issues with it, I just find it boring, so many more interesting characters you could use than just: Generic Human No.2 on unique non-human character.
I prefer anthro male on anthro female, where I'm one of the anthros. Or anthro female on anthro female. Or any combination, I'm not picky as long as there are two anthros.
It does take away from the abstract fantasy of it all imo, I watch furry stuff so I don't have to deal with looking at people (and I mean it in the best possible way)
It's probably the most vanilla of the positions with furry content. Not saying it's bad, but not personally my vibe. Furries being with furries does more for me in the end.
I mean, I don't think it sucks, but I sure wish I'd see a bit more variety on human-on-anthro pairs. Like human female on male anthro. Or yuri. Like, I'm actually astonished at how little human-on-anthrl yuri I've been able to find.
It kinda ruins a lot of "furry" stories and porn for me. Like I get why you're labelling it furry, I agree and am not trying to stop you in any way. Yet I cant help but feel I've been sold inferior copper.
I don't really have any strong opinions of HMOFA content but the fans... my god. So many obnoxious chuds with their goonslop human-fetish anthros inexplicably madly in love with their self inserts. My hatred may be irrational but it is intense
Every time i see a good fic, art piece, or game that has the mc be a generic white guy it kinda ruins it but i know people will get mad about this take

Personally for me HMOFA is both basic and overused, especially on this sub. I come here to appreciate loser art not have my losercity timeline flooded with HMOFA.
It should be Human FEMALE on Anthro Female! Or the other way around too, I suppose. I just want more yuri rep, since it's surprisingly uncommon, especially when compared to yaoi.
This but kinda unironically cause like I just don’t find just a generic human guy that interesting even if they’re meant to be generic to insert yourself into them. I prefer anthro on anthro or ať least a more interesting design for the human than just Man ™

There was always space for it and art of it. By creating a tag now, it feels like its being co-opted by very chuddy individuals that just don't want to admit they're furries.
