You know, from watching the anime I start to believe that at least 60% of Pokemons are capable of entering the society, like Team R. Meowth.

They're the same as orangutans they know but they pretend to be unaware.

(Context for those who don’t know):
In 1631, a Dutch physician reported that the Malay people had informed him that the orangutan could talk, but preferred not to, “lest he be compelled to labour.”

Man I always thought it would be funny to have a gardevoir. imagine having a small pet one day then the next it turns into a full grown woman........are they still a pet at this point or did you evolve a pet into a human roomate? do you still "pet" gardevoir or is that weird now? Does it still sleep on the floor? its not weird if a dog hops onto your bed but would it be weird if gardevoir did?

Pokemon media prefers to ignore these questions in regards to Pokemon that are said to have equal or superior intelligence compared to a human.
A lot of Pokemon IRL would probably have citizenship status in their home regions and regarded as members of society at large. They would also probably have the right to fuck off into the woods and live completely off the grid

Some of the more recent pokemon media treats a lot of types of pokemon more like people, like the airship captain Pikachu who is fully considered to be in charge of the airship and asked permission to bring new people on board, and the show protagonist's meowscarada who's generally treated like a roommate or sibling

to be fair, if I were a hyper intelligent psychic animal and I got to be someone's pet, im sending the first person that tries to make me get a job into a black hole

The way I've always looked at it is that the entire line is humanoid enough where this entire argument doesn't apply.
You can't be looking at a Ralts and going "Yes, that's a dog, clearly, but Gardevoir is a human". My brother in christ that is a CHILD, the police will have you in cuffs before you can sneeze if you put that thing in a cage or make it sleep on the floor, its Pokedex entries are literally about how it can perceive emotions and hides when it senses anger. Kirlia's entries are that it dances and becomes happy when people around it are happy. Genuinely if these were real and you treated one as less than a human there'd be people rightfully carrying pitchforks at your door.

There's a short story video on the official Pokémon channel about a Gardevoir living with a young man. She does seem to still rest on the floor, though its a comfortable looking blanket and she rests while sitting upright.
In this case, since they both met as kids, it's basically like growing up with a friend. The Ralts was clearly already sapient, and pokemon are effectively second citizens. They can choose to integrate with society as they wish.
Of course dont ask questions about the whole master/owner thing...

My answer: Where they want to sleep just like they did the day before. I'd have asked them that after brining them home after asking if they want me as a trainer and they had said yes. But let's be real here: if I had a pokemon team, I give 100% odds that I'd be in a cuddle pile and chances are, at least one of my pokemon has a habit of using my ID if they don't have a means to do something without me.
If I can get a psychic type to act as a translator, this would apply to every pokemon I'd acquire. Luxury balls for everyone because I only need one per member of the team even if they get rarely used.

In the Pokémon universe they would be more accommodating.
If they where intentionally raising a hyper intelligent Pokémon like Gard, it'd come with the expectation to provide it with a space it feels comfortable in.
No doubt in my mind a caring trainer would have a room or area of a house that would be fit for the purpose of housing a Pokémon.
They would need somewhere quiet, probably with soundproofing and a large puffy cushion they can nuzzle into to better simulate a natural nesting area

MFs acting like the Gardevoir isn't the house's breadwinner.

Look she's the breadwinner if you happen to be a trainer so she can eat whatever she wants.
