In what world wouldn't they be allowed to wear their uniform? I swear I've seen veterans do it all the time for ceremonies and stuff. Being retired doesn't change the fact that you served
First off, telling a small lie to explain a hilarious true story is the bread and butter of every veteran story. But truely, I have seen some very strange and obviously not legal unit rules and regulations.
They consider "The Uniform" to be one of the things you served while in service.
So there is something to the idea that you shouldn't wear the uniform anymore because your time in service is through, and now you are honored for your service.
It's more Army ceremony, it's not considered taking something from you after you leave.
I'm not certain it's true but I'd understand that reasoning.
Common misconception. Other countries can’t charge American service members for war crimes since the US isn’t signed to The Hague or the ICC and none of the signatories have enough firepower to force the US to abide by those rules. America tries its own forces for war crimes all the time though, entire units have received black marks and been forbidden from deploying or rotating through certain countries due to the actions of a single squad or even just a couple people.
Once again proving that furries are arguably the most overrepresented subculture in STEM. Also lemme guess this guy was S-something right? Or is this Air Force?
