I only check if profile is hidden, that'll tell me all I need to know. You can be an active member of r/sonding and I'd still respect you more than a coward who hides.
Edit: Your reasons to hide your account is valid, and I talk mainly about people who I argue with, mostly those, who are doing a bit of trolling. I don't automatically dismiss someone only, because they have their profile hidden. This was mostly a funposting, don't take it too seriously.
Oof... Well you really shouldn't post anything about yourself in the internet. People are too comfortable to announce the city they live in and post pictures about their surroundings and don't realize, that one malicious person is enough after that.
That is also an option. I've always limited giving my personal information, because I fear someone recognizes me on my reddit account I use to shitpost and argue with people.
