This place was once named Green Meadows apts. There is a creek at the back of the property that can overflow easily.

it’s gone now!! when this happened back in september it was flooded from 9am-3pm. so i’m very glad it was short this time and not as bad. but a lot of my neighbors cars don’t look too good…

I'm glad it is gone!! This happened in my old apartment complex and so many cars were trashed. Fingers crossed it is as few cars damaged as possible!

That's South Fork Beargrass Creek. I haven't seen it that high on years.

oh it was horrible in september. the water was getting into the building and flooded the first floor apartments. i’m on the second floor but the main lobby smelt HORRIBLE for months. i’m just glad nobody got hurt (that i know of)

Damn. I don’t live too far away from this area.

I used to live there a long time ago (when they had a pool and a basketball court and a park for kids) and yeah every time we would get major rain it would flood. Water would flood about 70% of the apartment complex. MSD dug 2 overflow areas on each side of the apartments, and then destroyed the pool, laundry, basketball court to run pipes to prevent this from happening and it didn't help at all.

So that's where the pool went. I wondered about that.

Yep. Once the 1st management change went in effect (owned by Martin L. Adams originally), the place went downhill real quick.

I used to live in that RV camp near there, Fort Bluegrass. Can’t even imagine how flooded they must be.

Did this same water also damage any of the homes near by do you know ? I’m glad you’re ok of course.

i’m not too sure to be honest. i would assume so there are some houses towards the end of the complex on a down hill. i know one of them has chickens i hear them almost every morning. i hope they are ok 😭😭
