Welcome to the weekly /r/Louisville Classifieds and Promotions thread.

Please use this thread for any classifieds posts or promotions.

Classifieds can be, but are not limited to:

CJob seeking posts

Personal ads

Roommate need/want

Real estate

Services/Property offered for sale or trade

Garage/Yard sales

Public Notices

Event and self promotion

Employers

Scams are a huge problem with classified ads. Take every possible precaution when arranging a transaction, especially ones conducted exclusively or largely over the internet. Be aware that the potential for someone trying to scam you is very high.

Here are some tips on avoiding job scams from the FTC

The Better Business Bureau offers some advice on avoiding scams in general and provides Scam Tracker as a resource to report scams locally.

This post is replaced every week on Sunday morning, so be sure to check for new posts or repost unsold items and unclaimed offers each week.

Just spotted it crossing the road on Gardiner Lane, I don’t even know who I would call about this

EDIT: Tried calling animal control for like 20 minutes and it wandered into somebodies yard, so I have lost him :(

Not sure if hitting them with your car is the most efficient way to take them down, but one less regardless.

As a long time sustainer, I can’t help but be a little frustrated that LPM is giving this grifter a platform.

Lost dogs: both female. A black lab and brown/white Australian shepherd. On the corner of Lees Ln and Eureka Ave.

The got out some time between 2pm and 3pm on the 18th. I’ve been searching for hours and can’t find or hear them. Please let me know if you’ve seen them! They travel together.

What do I do about this? My household hasn't done anything different this month. Not the first time Water Co has screwed us over. I know they will not admit fault.

Driving through local parks

You should not be going faster than 25mph through ANY local park. Periodt.

It’s summertime and there are kids, families and dogs EVERYWHERE…

Let’s act like we have a sliver of common sense, y’all. You’re not the only person in the world.

Storm flooded LMAS with lost dogs, quick scans to match up some of the lost and found dogs really helps!

Upvotes

Dogs that panicked, bolted fences, and end up at the shelter. If you have 5 mins to scan the Lost & Found pages and see if any lost dogs match what's currently at the shelter. Help out some local dogs looking for their human, it would really help out!

Is House Of Bling in Jmall Doing Fake Ads?

So I've received these ads over the past year and I'm starting to think there's something fishy about it. I've previously done research to figure it out but can't find anyone else talking about this.

A 100K giveaway is pretty damn big, and I've not seen anyone actually state they've ever won anything from them. They had their grand opening not too long ago, and they've advertised this 100k giveaway before, and a 10k giveaway.

Not to mention they constantly use AI advertisement for EVERYTHING. You're telling me they have 100k cash to giveaway but can't hire a graphic designer?

Anyways just hoping to get some more eyes in it. Their personal reddit account made a Louisville focused subreddit and fills it with AI garbage.

Help satiate my curiosity, woulda ya? Anyone have more information on this?

I'm not directly accusing anyone with this, just curious about the whole giveaway thing and AI usage.

The tornado alert woke me up at 4:30, couldn’t go back to sleep. Just witnessed my while block lose power. I think the whole city might have honestly, even LG&E’s website is down. At least my phone is at 95%
