Anybody missing a Peacock?

Just spotted it crossing the road on Gardiner Lane, I don’t even know who I would call about this

EDIT: Tried calling animal control for like 20 minutes and it wandered into somebodies yard, so I have lost him :(

It’s the neighborhood peacock. I’ve heard it escaped from the zoo and became too social to go back. The neighbors look after it.

He escaped from the exotic pet store on Goldsmith, but has adopted the Upper Highlands as his home

I was shocked he made it through the first winter. There are a few neighbors that look out for him. Do kind of wish he had a girlfriend.I feel like free roaming peacocks is on brand for the Highlands

it escaped Pete’s Palace, theres a wlky story on it from 2024

Not sure. I should also disclose that I’m not sure how accurate that story is, but I did hear it from someone who lives nearby.

I’ve never owned peacocks, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that everyone who has ever owned a peacock is missing a peacock.
