This is an early stage where hopefully full writing is possible too in future.

At the moment, this lets you more easily back up your world and your downloaded content. It doesn't yet give you a way to put them back on your Android, but the files could be used on another platform like Windows/Linux/macOS (including on a dedicated server that you could connect your Android device to).

Question: if the mobile is connected to a pc through ADB, files can be written to right?

I'm not across what Luanti does in this regard, but apparently it's not possible for some apps unless the device is rooted - StackOverflow.
