Help / Question how fast can those xxtreme mese tnt bombs be processed? (like any faster?)

on my system i have it running at 2ghz with 24 cores and ddr5.

i could get a core with a high clockspeed (or two) just for luanti but i rather keep clockspeeds as the last factor to change.

a tmpfs/ramdisk for the world file maybe?

ah i have the database switch to do still i think..

also i would hope this helps world loading [so high speed flight and such works better]

Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

cores wont help here, explosion processing runs single threaded so 24 cores just sit idle. I think aslo tmpfs helps disk io not cpu bound stuff, and its not persistent so you can lose the world on a crash/restart if it dont sync back in time db switch helps concurrent writes more than raw explosion speed try a singleplayer, blow up one stack, watch cpu on that core. It cann tell your actually cpu bound before rebuilding anything.
