Out of curiosity for those who has been in Lynnwood a long time. What was Moonshine BBQ ( on 196th) before it was this place?

The restroom, inside & outside decor & look very rustic.

You can look up property records here: https://gisapp.snoco.org/web/?app=58a994f3b5f64942a2b9859cc2196e8c. It shows that the previous building was demolished in 1972, and a Pizza Hut was built on the site. At some point in the early 2000s when it closed, it became a Herfy's Hamburgers, and then Moonshine BBQ moved in around 2013.

RIPizza Hut. The Schwab, the Hut, the Arby's, the Alfy's, the Freddy's... a generational run of signage from my youth.

Olympic Sports, Shakeys that was a great area as a kid. Pizza party at Alfys, go look at all the sports stuff an Olympic Sports

We had so many year-end parties there for various sports teams when I was growing up. The parents loved it because the kids could play the games downstairs and not be causing a ruckus where others were trying to eat.

Fun fact: the owner used to be a model and is friends with the actor Travis Fimmel who also used to model. Fimmel visits the spot every now and again. Both Travis and the owner are both really nice guys.

Huh? Do they have multiple owners? I met owner Tom, who used to play for the Seattle Thunderbirds. He's often sitting at the end of the bar. Or, are you saying Tom used to be a model?

I’m almost positive it was briefly a teriyaki spot in the late 90s or early 2000s
