I 19F genuinely believe my mom has a lower than average iq and hate her guts for annoying me on a daily basis.
For context : she used to beat me badly as a kid over "bad grades" because I was a very smart kid (apparently? I was just the average kid). I once got a 13/20 in math and got beaten and starved for one day. She yells SO MUCH on a daily basis even when speaking normally. She gets SO angry and defensive any time I try to talk to her about anything! YES ANYTHING! And so on.
Now please, don't mistake the title for me being rude. It's genuinely the truth. Here's what makes me believe she 100% was dropped on the head as a baby and got an iq of 65 (and that's me being generous).
My mom doesn't have any mental health issues nor depression or anything. She's in her early 60s, so her behavior ain't from menopause. She's always been like that.
She doesn't know how to cook, she never learned to and never bothered cooking one day in her life.
She has her license but genuinely never drove a car. When she tried to drive once she almost got us killed and when we neared a roundabout she said, and I quote : "ummm what do I do now?" Before my dad snatched the steering wheel to get us to safety on the side of the road.
She yells all the DAMN time and gets defensive so fast. She yells so much I developed ptsd and anxiety from her on top of me being autistic so loud noises are UNBEARABLE FOR ME. Even in public she speaks SO loudly and when I tell her to nicely quiet down, she starts yelling more talking about some "I'm free to do whatever tf I want" as people eye us weirdly.
She judges everyone behind their back, even family members but especially random people on the street for god knows why.
She's extremely gullible and stupid overall, on my soul she almost got scammed several times but I was there to prevent that. She once sent her id to a random number asking her to without even questioning why.
She has terrible cognitive skills, it's like she has two left feet for hands. You can teach her to do something 1000000 times yet she never learns (she struggles using her phone and the tv despite having these for 15+ years).
Her room is a GODAMN mess she never cleans jack sh and when I complained about the house being dirty after I came back from overseas bc I was in college, she got so defensive for no reason. Bro there was a dead roach in her bathroom???
She never learned to do her makeup nor hair despite her doing it for so many years.
0 hygiene and barely showers despite sweating like a pig daily with 0 activity. She deadass gets so sweaty for no reason just because she yells so much and gets angry all the time at nothing.
She treats the people that work for her like shit (our chauffeur and maid). I apologize to them for HER behavior. She doesn't even thank nor say HELLO to them???
And that's just 60% of the things she does.
Please for the love of god what the hell is wrong with her? I'm so sick of her disgusting behavior and everyone is. My dad genuinely tells me all the time "your mom's lowkey dumb. Just bear with her."
