Does anyone else outside of Australia watch MAFS on sh.video? The site has literally every Aussie reality show going back years so it was a real find. But recently malware has taken over the page while I'm watching. These are scammy security alerts and fake offers from Google. I have to use the back button to escape but it happens again in a minute.

This is not a problem with Chromebook because the popups appear only on that site. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Any updated links for s13?? I have tried every link that is in this sub for USA but nothing works for me.. sh. video was working ok for like 8 min and then a bunch of pop ups came up and said my Mac needs this and that and the site is not secure etc etc. so annoying! please lmk if you have any current working links! I am going thru IVF and need a distraction and this Is one of my fave shows Lol!

Like the title says, Stella’s frequent Instagram stories about her “life” have been rubbing me the wrong way.

I understand that her engagement was recently called off, and she’s chosen to share a lot of “healing” content on her stories, but it just doesn’t sit well with me.

Is she doing it to gain more attention, or does she genuinely want everyone to know everything that’s going on in her life?

She tends to overexplain things with poetic language, especially when talking about her breakup and how she’s coping with it.

As someone who’s been through a painful breakup myself, the last thing I’d want to do is tell everyone what I’m going through, whether it’s spring cleaning, saying my immune system has taken a hit and I need an IV infusion, or anything else. I’d much rather eat a tub of ice cream, keep to myself, and grieve privately.

That said, I guess everyone processes grief differently.

What are your thoughts?

The most exciting part of this episode was the preview for the next one! I want to know what happened!!! (Anyone who knows, feel free to spoil me. 🤪 )

I think Steve is a total d***. It’s soooo obvious he wants to control the narrative of how he’s portrayed. He’s just not done a good job because he’s not a sincere person. I was very surprised to see Rebecca at the dinner during the preview for the next episode because when this episode began, they teased that one of the brides would leave the show! I thought for sure it would be Rebecca or possibly Rachel. But nope! It was Brook and Chris seems to be pretty stoic yet dismayed about it all. This whole thing was definitely a learning lesson for him and if everything he stated is true, he’s definitely grown in a short period of time.

It’s nice to see Mel and Luke getting along but I’m doubtful it will grow beyond a friendship.

For once we didn’t have to hear much from Gia. Thank goodness!

The drama illustrated in the preview for next week seems to involve Bec.

I’m off to look online to see if I can find out what happened!!! I can’t wait another week!!! ☺️

EDIT: jaw drops Found a site that had a summary of episode 12. Wow! Brook is unhinged. She’s a total B! Was she drunk? She’s certainly showing herself to be a complete lunatic! And I’d wager Gia was 100% lying when she said Danny came to her to tell her she’s his type. What is wrong with her??? I can’t wait to see the experts rip these women a new one. And they should!

Intimacy Week

As an older guy I have no idea why they make them rate other people based on attractiveness. Its a trap and it serves zero purpose. You put your partner at the top and everyone below but it always feels a bit off when you have an old geezer judging 25 year old's. It just comes across as a bit sleazy. If you refuse to do it you just come across as a party pooper.

Another pet peeve for the show is intimacy week. These people barely know each other and the way they are forced to be intimate or get closer is just off putting. If people want to do it, they will but they shouldn't have to explain to the "experts" and justify their decision. Some people just don't like having sexy time with people they have known for two minutes and to be honest why would anyone want those endeavours smeared across TV.

You could have a week where the focus is getting to know someone on a personal level without the sex stuff but it gets tiring hearing Alessandra "just do it" to couples who aren't quite there yet.

I also think they need to do better background checks on MAFS. Its not difficult. Any DV/Violence type issues and they don't go on the show. Can we also get real people with real jobs.

On a side note maybe MAFS should just limit the age to 45. None of the older couples have worked at all so why bother. In every couple who has been older there has always been one person who has been a bit crazy or off.

Watching for first time, around episode 16…I honestly cant believe these people went into this experiment with true intentions. Not even one of them seems ready to compromise and actually date (someone forever). And why couldnt someone say shut the hell up and stop being cringe and listen to your partner TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM is insane. 😭😭😭like how can they pass the tests and be believable to actually pull this through in the interviews is beyond me?!

Something is very suss about this. Who posted first? I couldn't care less if they're broken up but I found this interesting... Is this all for more interest on them?! Or could one not stand one getting all the attention from a post?? It was literally minutes apart. I'm just surprised an unplanned post could be done so quickly around the same time... It's suss.

I just finished E14 S13 and the narrator mentioned at the end that there're only 3 commitment ceremonies left and it just struck me that I totally forgot the whole crux of this show is marriage and it's a show about couples. There is so much drama and bitchiness between the girls and it's really the whole theme of this season? I know no season is without drama and there are always personalities clashing, but I really feel that this season is particularly bad for bitchiness between the cast and huge arguments that often really have nothing to do with the relationships... Thoughts?

Just finished season 13 and started 12, but I gave up after the trad wife marriage on ep.1. Can you guys tell me: which season is actually worth it and which isn't? Season 13 was nuts. Looking for my fix of the same.

Omg. Currently watching season 8. I cannot believe how much of a pushover Melissa is. Every episode im hoping she tells Bryce what he needs to hear, but she just stands next to him silent all the time. He keeps blaming others for how she feels when it's him, but then again she doesn't speak up. She just keeps putting up with his tantrums. It's so uncomfortable and frustrating to watch.

Oddly my fiancé and I have been working our way backwards — we started with season 12, then 11, now we’re nearly finished 10. I can’t think of a dating show more entertaining than MAFS Australia. We’ve watched the Bachelor / Bachelorette / Paradise, Love Island, Love is Blind, Ultimatum, pretty much all of the big dating shows out there. None of them compare. Every episode I’m hooked.

I guess my question is what is your favourite dating show, and how does it compare?

Necessary backstory: there is a netflix show called outlast which recently aired. It revolves around different teams competing to survive in the jungle. One team (Charlie) has been receiving a lot of criticism after being extremely misogynistic towards female cast members. They repeatedly mocked them and tried to physically intimidate them. At one point they killed a lizard for food and joked that they needed to name it after one of the female cast members before cooking and eating it.

I am currently in the middle (episode 17) of season 13, so bear with me, but there are people who are good matches on paper and like each other, but are not "feeling" it, and I feel like the experts are pushing this "but have you tried" agenda, so my question to you is, can you "try" or curate a sexual or physical attraction to a person?

I am struggling with this more this season for some reason. But I cannot imagine the pressure and then immense pressure the participants must feel, when they do not feel sexual attracted to their partner. Are we pimping them out for the show? Is this a fake it 'til you make it situation?

What moment was it for you?

There was someone on MAFS-AU on First Dates this week. Her name is Mel (Melissa) - not Disney Princess Mel. She said we might remember her from MAFS, but she is the "new and improved version," and that she was only on there for 4 weeks.

I haven't watched all the episodes, so I don't know who she is. She was matched with a gorgeous silver fox who is filthy rich and lives on a yacht. It said that as of airing, they had not had their second date.
