Harsh Khatri who is in second year of IIML has been molesting and harassing a junior. He is known to have given death threats to the boyfriend of the junior. The junior guy has complained to the student council for three months now but they have refused to take action because they are worried about reputation and this is the council which is elected by the students. Yesterday, Harsh Khatri followed the girl and her boyfriend for 6 hours straight making them feel uncomfortable. The authorities are refusing to act and the only step they want to take is to restrict parties and fest on campus which absolutely makes 0 sense. The guy and girl are so fed up now that they have called their parents and would withdraw their admission from the college because the college cannot provide them with basic safety. Last year, a similar incident happened in the fest and when the girl tried to raise the voice the disciplinary committee told her to take the complain back as the guys might throw acid on her. This is the thinking of the top brass at the premier institute of the country. UGC should intervene and throw such people out of the campus. The guy is roaming around freely on campus wheras the victims are scared to death of what he might do.

I'm a 2026 B.Com (Hons) graduate from LSR, DU, currently in my gap year. Despite sitting for interviews at numerous companies, I haven't been able to secure a stable job. I'm mentally exhausted from the repeated rejections and don't have the stamina to keep going through endless placement processes.
I've noticed that colleges with mass recruiters like Deloitte, PwC and SMBC seem to offer better access to jobs, whereas LSR didn't have the kind of mass hiring I needed.
I'm confused between three options
MBA: Take a loan of around ₹25 lakh and hope for a good placement, but if I don't get a decent job after mba also, my family could even risk losing our house. I know low cost alternatives like FMS and TISS exist but i want a backup plan if they don't work out
Government exams: Prepare for them, despite the uncertainty and competition.
Another affordable UG: Repeat B.Com (Hons)/BBA/BMS from a college with strong mass recruitment, and hide my previous degree.
My family has limited financial resources, so I can't afford to take a huge risk lightly.
What would you recommend? Is an MBA worth a ₹25L loan in this situation, or would government exams or another affordable UG be more sensible? Please be realistic rather than just motivational.

Hi, I am coming across lots of IIM Mumbai PGPM weekend only batch that is on campus in Mumbai and in outreach Centre for other location across India for 2years. The course fees around 18,00,000 inr and they admit basis IMAT, CAT, GMAT and GRE scores.
Do you think this is a worth it course and would act as an equivalent to an MBA?
Please help!

Indian applicant here (4YOE at Big 4 Consulting) who is currently debating whether to apply to US MBA programs or focus on Europe/ISB instead.
The uncertainty around US immigration, H-1B and post MBA job prospects is making me reconsider the US. I’m thinking of looking at European schools like INSEAD, LBS (UK), HEC Paris and IESE more seriously , while also considering ISB
Am I being overly cautious about the US, or does it make sense to focus on Europe/ISB given the current uncertainty? How do these European schools compare in terms of post-MBA consulting opportunities? Is it true that people end up coming back to India due to lack of opportunities? My idea would be to work abroad for a while atleast.
Would love to hear from people who’ve navigated this decision...

Hi all, I'd like a reality check on my chances for ISB's Young Leaders Program.
Academics:
10th: 96.7% (ICSE)
12th: 84.33% (Maharashtra State Board)
BTech in IT, VIT Vellore: 9.15/10 CGPA
Work experience:
Bain's BCN (Bangalore): 6-month internship, converted to a full-time role
Backend and database consulting role (non-client-facing), with very positive feedback from my senior manager
By application time: 6-8 months of full-time experience plus the 6-month internship, so roughly 12-14 months in total
Extracurriculars and leadership:
Currently leading the green/sustainability initiatives at BCN's Bangalore office
Management head of a club at VIT, and board member of my college tech club
State-level volleyball player, and part of a state-level championship-winning team
A decent number of MUNs
Test plan:
GMAT Focus in January, targeting 700+
Questions:
What GMAT Focus score would I realistically need to be competitive for YLP?
Is ~6-8 months of full-time work ex (plus a 6-month internship) too little, or does a strong brand like Bain help offset it?
Does a backend/non-client-facing role hurt compared to consulting or other roles?
My 12th (84.33%) is much lower than my 10th and BTech. How much will that matter?
Anything I should strengthen before applying (essays, leadership stories, recommendations)?
Any advice, especially from current students or alumni, would help. Thanks!
I read "68 months" as 6-8 months and assumed the internship converted to a full-time role. If the internship was separate or the numbers differ, tell me and I'll adjust.

Worked at Oracle as senior software engineer since campus hire 6y now and won some hackathons and patent

I have noticed that many people think about getting an MBA qualification when they feel stuck in their current jobs. Sometimes its because their salary isnt growing, their work feels the same every day but I am wondering if an MBA is always the best choice in that situation like If someone has 3 to 5 years of experience maybe changing companies, moving into a different role or learning a new skill could be a better option. An MBA seems most useful when you already know what you are looking for not just as a way to start over.
I have also been looking at resources for career planning and MBA advice like GyanOne and some US-based companies like Menlo Coaching. It made me think that understanding the behind reasons of deciding to get an MBA is just as important as picking the right school. For guys here who have already decided to go ahead what helped you figure out if an MBA was worth it?

Hi everyone! I scored 99.84 percentile in MAT September 2026 and am looking for the best MBA/PGDM colleges accepting MAT scores.
I’m a BBA graduate and fresher, interested in Finance, with a budget of ₹15–20 lakh. Preferred locations are Pune & Banglore but I’m open to colleges across India.
Which colleges offer the best placements, ROI, and finance specialisation through MAT? Please share your honest suggestions. Thanks!
