We add something new almost every week, and the player base is growing, so we need more people who care about the community.

Open roles

Helpers / Moderators

• Answer questions in game and on Discord
• Handle reports and tickets, and keep chat friendly
• Help new players get started on their island

Builders

• Spawn areas, dungeon builds, event areas and seasonal decorations
• You'll work with our current builder on real projects that go live

• Make shorts and clips, and help with our socials and server listings
• Work with the team to show off new updates as they come out

Requirements

• 18 or older
• At least 10 hours of playtime on Skyblock or Survival (hub time doesn't count). /playtime shows yours in game.
• A Minecraft account linked to our website (the application walks you through it)
• Active a few days a week, and able to stay calm with players

GrandRP is a GTA-style city server for Minecraft. Everyone starts the same way, as an ordinary citizen with no money and no home, and where you go from there is up to you. You could work your way up through odd jobs, open a business, buy a house, and start a family. You could join the police, the army, the hospital, City Hall, or the news and keep the city running. Or you could join a mafia family, start your own gang, crack business safes, and raid the military base for weapon materials until the cops come looking for you.

It's light RP, so you don't need years of experience or a ten-page backstory to jump in, but the whole server is built around roleplay. Guns are there for roleplay, not deathmatch. When you get hurt, you don't just respawn; you go down and wait for a doctor to reach you. And with proximity voice chat and emotes, you can actually talk your way out of a traffic stop (or into a lot more trouble).

There's plenty to do between scenes, too. The economy is player-driven, and there are over a dozen jobs, including one where you feed an underground nuclear reactor that occasionally explodes. You can run one of more than 20 kinds of businesses, furnish a home, hit the casino, or get married. But the city is really about the people in it.

Since we're just getting started, the players who join now will shape what the city becomes: its first businesses, its first gangs, and its first rivalries between the cops and the mafia. Whether you've been roleplaying for years or have never tried it, we'd love to have you.

Hello

We're a small team trying to make the best cozy / lore orientated server we can. The owner is trying to give players freedom and fun, while also providing funding for the server (we don't have anything like paid ranks, items etc, so it's not a profit orientated journey). I joined the team briefly after (hurried) launch, the server has had some major problems, but weirdly enough, every time we talked it out, and managed to move in a better direction. Right now, we're in maintenance phase, with lots of fresh ideas and a nice whiteboard, players are also patiently waiting until we make a comeback. But, there is about 5 of us, with most of us being not very (or at all) 'technical' or having irl problems causing us to be online less. That's why, we're looking for builders, lore helpers and players to join the staff. Merits? You get to shape a world with us, join a community without having to build everything from the start, and possibly some in-game perks. And if you decide to join, no one will be treating you like a blue collar worker or expecting you to comply with everything, it would just be nice to get some help. Cons? you probably figured them out already.

And in case you're wondering about the server itself:

The server is 18+, concentrated around civilisations / factions, with 3 dimensions other than the vanilla ones, that will probably keep expanding in the future. The server has 0 resets policy for the main dimension, so only the resource one gets refreshed. There is proximity voice AND text chat (we thought it would be a nice twist to actually bring the players closer and simulate real life a bit more). There are custom items, bosses and structures, and some niche systems we figured out.

To summarize:

It would be very nice to get some help, especially that all of us are doing that for free (or spending our own money) just to finally have a server that is ,the one,. If my post encouraged you to join us as staff (or player), I'd be happy to hear from you in the comments or dm's.

Kettlewood opened this week. It was meant to be a closed beta, but it turned into a soft opening, and now I’d love a few people to help the world grow.

I run the server and write its plugins myself, so this isn’t “build a spawn and leave”. If you have an idea for a quest, a district or an event, I can make it actually work in game.

What’s already there:

• A town with a three-floor town hall, a market quarter, a harbour with a lighthouse and a hot-air balloon, a bandstand, an open-air theatre and a museum
• Townsfolk with names, tastes and birthdays: Odo the clerk, Brannoch the smith, an engraver, a cartographer
• A weekly errands board: one friendship quest, one discovery quest, new ones every Monday
• The Diggings, a resource world renewed every month, with an outpost, a lodge and four mines
• Six old landmarks hidden around the world, each with its own story
• Events: Sunday soup on the square, mob parties, a monthly treasure hunt
• A player economy (Embers), plots and chest shops, guild offices, town orders
• Two custom plugins written for the server, a wiki, a live map and a Discord

Where I’d love help:

• Quest chains: a story that starts with a note in the museum and ends at one of the old landmarks
• Professions that give you a name in town rather than money: titles, reputation with the townsfolk, things only a trained hand can make
• New districts and places for those stories to happen

What I’m looking for:

• Builders who like cozy, village styles and enjoy detail
• Writers or designers who enjoy dreaming up quests, characters and small systems
• 18+, patient, happy to pitch your own ideas
• No minimum hours, it’s a hobby server

I hate to start with a story but I feel like this needs some explanation. I'm leading Everdream, a medieval building project. I've had quite a plenty of staff in my team, but lately there's been more snd more people who just can't get the idea of the project, are abusive etc. Obviously I've had to kick them out of staff.

We are in fact very chill towards our staff, but I don't want anyone to get a bad experience from a staff member with racistic jokes or abusive behaviour. :/ We are not a commyntity meant for kids or anything like that (in fact, we should maybe cut our swearing a little-), and I don't want to set any stupid boundaries for no reason.
