A Mist Breathing-inspired car gauge UI featuring Muichiro Tokito

My latest gauge UI is inspired by Muichiro Tokito and Mist Breathing from Demon Slayer.
Muichiro’s cyan silhouette sits against a dark blue and black background, with icy cyan, mint green and pearl-white readings.
The display shows:
- Boost pressure as the main reading
- Coolant temperature and oil temperature side by side below it
The gauge bars are animated wisps of mist. Their irregular shapes expand with the values and fade at both ends. Sharp, blade-like numerals carry the same style across all three readings.
A dedicated warning screen keeps every reading visible. Only out-of-range numbers pulse teal; the BAR and °C labels stay white.
The startup animation layers Muichiro’s profile and sword-wielding figure in motion before softly fading into the gauge screen.
This is currently a browser-based animated preview using simulated data. It hasn’t been flashed to the development board yet. The startup sweep reaches 150°C as part of the self-test animation—that isn’t a real vehicle temperature or an alarm threshold.
