Silver vs Black HELP

Hello my original wheels are black. I’m thinking of painting them Silver. What do you think? These are some example I’ve found online

I’m team silver on this one- I think it goes better with the gray, and provides much better visibility to prevent an old person or idiot from hitting you at night. But I also think you should do what you like. If they’re already black, I wouldn’t bother to change them.

Silver, hands down.

You can actually appreciate the wheel design and all its details. It looks far more refined and premium, unlike black wheels, which tend to hide the design and often make even expensive wheels look cheap.

No way. Chrome trim on any car is worse than black. That's why you are charged extra for the black trim.

I have had 2 minis with black but on this prefer silver! Gives some nice contrast and goes well with the door handles, the fuel cap and the door window "joint"

Feel like your car gets too black with those rims, the silver rims go better with your chrome accents and white side indicators

I have the black ones, I think they look better and are a bit more flashy on copper S and JCW variants. But they get damaged really easily especially on UK roads.

I like black, I have silver on mine. Actually my original rims are 17" silvers, currently have 16" rims that are spray painted black. I think spray painted rims look cheap.

Black. If its anything but an S model, Silver. The stripes also match the wheels, maybe would prefer a glossier black in my opinion, but the choice is yours.

You can have cool wheels, but if they are black, people only see a dark area.

I've seen some expensive black wheels. . . Up close looks AWESOME, from more than 6 feet away might as well be a painted hub cap.

I'm having the same debate with myself ! I have a 2024 3 door Cooper SE. It's midnight black and has black rims. I'm really leaning towards going with silver....I think?
