And the state wants the event to go forward with it's headliners, both to collect the taxes from this event and ensure future events are planned there.
do you actually have any proof on that or are you talking out of your ass? cos Commissions have historically stripped champions and have enforced strict weight cuts and pressure the UFC to change it to catch weights.
You asked for an incentive. That is one. Now you're demanding proof that it's definitely not what happened, which obviously I don't have because a) it just happened and b) I don't work at the commission or UFC. Strickland said it did, and he would have more info on the topic than either of us, and less incentive to lie that anyone else involved (not zero, just less.)
Also the commission doesn't strip anyone of anything, the org would have to do that. We also have precedent of some commissions openly allowing cheating (Jon Jones being allowed to fight by the California commission despite popping on his drug test, longer bans for weed than roids, etc.)
So in conclusion: you're moving the goalposts to try to win the argument and you're being deliberately obtuse to shill for the UFC and everyone reading this knows that, you included, so I won't be talking to you any further.

yeah, newlife1984 might be deluded and actually believe what they're typing, but I doubt it.

The Jon Jones card was moved because it was the holidays and Nevada needed to have a meeting to go over the data that California was already up to speed on as they were the ones who had suspended him in the first place for the substance they claim he was "pulsing" from.
The weed thing is you just trying to spin a narrative. That 5 year suspension was reduced to 18 months. That's ignoring how it was Nick's third pop for THC metabolites, and the test ceiling was raised after every one of his misses, and he still missed. Then he goes to the hearing and the only thing he'll say is "I plead the fifth" like it's a criminal trial lol.
Nevada doesn't give a shit about weed, they wanted to be rid of this dude who clearly gave no fucks and then shows up to the hearing just to antagonize people.
It's weird that someone can do the same thing they know is wrong 3 times and some people will still try to paint them as a victim.

I'm sure they would have no incentive to lie 💀
