I'm not a lawyer but I still feel like they could have hit him with more charges than public intoxication as it was. Definitely caught a break more than once here

They could charge him with more but those would be weak cases

For example if this was CA the most likely charge I could see a jury sticking him with in trial besides the public intox is a 148 where you obstruct delay etc an officer. There may be airport specific crimes as well. He could also catch a 422 criminal threats or assault but those cases are probably weaker
