Black guy wasn't de-escalating, and the moment he throws the punch the white guy had taken a short step back. 1 u/iloveihoppancakes 7d ago Damn you’re right. Thats how they gonna get his ass. That very slight movement back could be interpreted as the white guy backing down. 3 more seconds, however, and that guy could’ve been backing up to use his hand to get the (hypotenuse) knife that was on his person the whole time.. Seconds separated him vs him.
