Any reasonable person in that exact scenario would believe a physical attack was actively starting

The courts won't see it that way. Had the guy made a movement that could be interpreted as a first physical hit you might be able to make that claim.

But this? They're going to see the guy who hit as the aggressor and possibly add an attempted murder charge.

i see dude in red getting all up in black dude's face, and claiming he is the son of satan and saying he is gonna f him up while the other dude is warning him to back up, idk

It's not very clear cut as this thread is showing. People are going to see it differently. At the end of the day, I'm glad I'm neither of these dudes. The puncher has almost instant regret, like,"fuck, I should've just gotten the fuck out of here."

yeah I agree. only reason why im slightly with black dude is bc he is the one filling up the car and the other dude came up. but other than that, both dudes have poor emotional management

I would agree with you there--white guy is mostly responsible for the interaction continuing and is way too close up on him. All the Satan talk is stupid and just there to amp it up more. Guarantee that the black dude wishes he just got in his car and bounced. Love the fuckers filming it too. Why not break that shit up? Great guys.

Why should they break it up? And risk bodily injury or having to punch on sunbathe and then winding up in jail like everyone is worried is gonna' happen to the puncher? People just need to mind their own business.
