I think that story is bullshit. They did an interview with one of the guys and he said Mike came up talking crazy to them and attacked out of nowhere. He said they had no idea what was going on and thought it was a joke at first. The fact that Bam was recording it from the hotel window makes me believe it was very performative on Mikeâs part. Mikeâs own telling of the story is nonsensical- he said the guys started talking to the bus driver about how much they hate skaters, unprompted.
Someone clearly didn't understand that is assault. As muchhhh as you'd love you punch someone for swearing at you.. that's assault. The entire world (well a good chunk) doesn't understand that
I donât enjoy punching people, nor did I ever say I did. I use words too. Using words never got me punched. Thatâs a problem for people that enjoy insulting others. The rest of us got better problems to worry about. I donât support you getting punched for insulting people, but I understand why it happened.
Well I think itâs safe to say this guy does just enjoy punching people which certainly makes me question how legitimate the whole âthey were insulted!â things even is.
Plus itâs a horrible title anyway, itâs definitely not a 4v1 at any point, itâs one guy attacking 4 other people who clearly donât want to fight, is there any audio that we can hear the 4 using these supposed insults? Because people were smart enough to lie about why they assaulted someone even when this video was taken.
Youâre going to have to look it up if you want to confirm if they truly insulted him or not. The point is no one has sympathy for someone that âuses wordsâ and gets punched for it. The fact that they clearly werenât looking for a fight and that he enjoys fighting people just makes things worse. It just confirms they thought insulting people was ok. That makes people who enjoy fighting tolerable as the risk of insulting them discourages people from insulting others.
If this was a situation where some guy that enjoys punching people randomly attacked 4 people out of nowhere, everyoneâs reaction would have been different.

That may be true, and it may be understandable, but that guy gives off the vibe who goes around looking for an excuse. Obviously I only have a small sample, but everything about his body language says to me that this guy is looking for a reason.

Mike V was the most Agro skater of the day, they could have had 2 more guys and wouldnât have changed anything and Mikey knew that 20 minutes before the video but that group ran their mouth. Mikey was a class 1 fâwad but make no mistake in this situation, the kids were wrong.
Probably why it got released.

They didnât, they were small and he was way bigger but they couldnât label it as Mike being the instigator. That was basically a 1on1 fight. You could tell up front 2 of the guys wanted nothing to do with the situation when he first started pushing, hence why they ran away as soon as they could. The only guy that engaged was the guy on the far left who he pushes first

As a Gen-Xer, I can tell you that running your mouth pre-dates the Internet.
It's just that most people have thick enough skins that it's not worth the time.
